Status: offline 		 I have been told by a sub that she is experiencing “sub frenzy” and it is not the same as sub space. I have tried to find the definition of this term and so far have been unsuccessful. Can anyone help with a definition?

uh....not that i feel like that ever ...no seriously.....never....

Status: offline 		I read an article (wish I had the link, sorry!) about sub frenzy. It basically stated that sub frenzy was a way of saying "I'm horny and I want some NOW and ANY man will do!" Maybe that friend hasn't had a Dom to dominant her in a while and she's feeling the itch to be dominanted REAL bad. She's more likely to accept a sub par situation/Dom because she wants to feel that feeling again. It's like being out of the dating scene for a while then entering it again; you may jump into a relationship with the wrong person because of your eagerness to have that "loving feeling" again.
Does that help at all?

Status: offline 		Just a gentle reminder: Though it is not spoken of as frequently, Dom-types can experience the "frenzies" too, with many of the same symptoms. Also, the frenzies are often associated with newcomers to the lifestyle; generally true, but they can affect someone at nearly any stage of their journey.

Status: offline 		Now I`m idly wondering how many subs went into their first "frenzy" when they first discovered the lifestyle?
Looking back, I`m fairly positive that breaking up with a guy I`d been with for about eight months, and eating the novel drivel told to me by a "wel-educatid aristrocatis dominate" from "the uS capitol" for at least a month while allowing a good friend of mine to tie me to the pipe of my parents' basement and take a couple random thwacks at me with a power cord counts, right?  Anybody with similiar experiences, or is it just me?

Sub frenzies can be fun. You can use the sexual energy to get them to do some truly insane things. As far as dealing with it? That would be up to the Op's Dom.

Status: offline 		I think I'm in the midst of sub frenzy right now. I've had sub feelings since I was 11 (I'm 45) but I never really acted on them, but the past few days it is all I can think about. I just found this site today and I can't stop coming here (Of course, I'm procrastinating work as well). I was hoping that I would final have the guts to go to a fetish night this weekend. Maybe it's a good thing.  It's very frustrating.

Status: offline 		I would define it as a frenzy when the need to scene causes an impairment in judgement.  Just like an addict trying to score their next fix.  Often the longer the withdrawal, the greater the desperation.

Cindybee, I think the greatest thing to watch out for in your situation is not forming a deep emotional attachment to the first person that explores your submission.  Just because they are the first to experience your desires that doesnt mean they are right for you in a relationship sense.  That would be like every one marrying the person they surrendered their virginity too.... however I think it happens a lot during frenzy.
