Hi Thompsonx , I do prefer the female members but I'll give you my standard welcome message:
Hello and welcome to Collar me. *S*
Enjoy your search.

Powerman40:
The ladies get personal email I get 6 words and an abreviated smile in a response on the boards....I think I see your problem with fakes.

Sorry to hurt your lil feelings, the ladies get the same message,

I just joined two days ago. (I think.) My first time around I got nothing but psycho emails. This time around I'm getting more emails. They don't seem AS psycho but you can tell they're just trying to get the better of you because they think you don't know any better than to avoid them. (Things didn't work out between me and the woman I met on CM, but she did teach me how to avoid nutjobs.)

As for the subject of not replying to emails..... call me too picky or something, but if I get one in which correct spelling and good grammer is nonexistent or, as previously stated, I'm simply told 'fuck me whore', then I simply give into the irresistable urge to delete the email. (And, depending on the severity of the issue, block the user.) So called 'normal' emails always receive a reply. (Even if it's obvious that they've sent me a 'copy and paste' email or didn't read my profile in it's entirety.) I think that if someone types out their own email, you should at least have the courtesy to send them an ''I'm sorry, but I'm not interested." and thank them for the email. At least that's what I've done when I got emails that I wasn't truly interested in.

edited to add: Ok, it apparently has my original join date from last year. Quick question: When you've deleted your profile and later recreate it with the same username and/or email address, does it simply mark it as if you never left?

As a percentage, one will find that veterans-still-without-matches on online contact sites are more likely to have already become jaded from all the BS, and/or have their bars set too high.

Not that I am looking for anyone but occasionally I browse the profiles and it appears royalty wouldn't be good enough for some people. The amount of people who want far more than their assets can realistically attract never ceases to surprise me.

I have come across one or two profiles that have intrigued me but even if I was tempted the distance would prove too great. The chances of hitting it off with someone and overcoming all the obstacles even if they are genuine are slim from such a small pool of people.

Indeed they are. But then again, people do win the lottos and get hit by lightening... [;)]
