being selfish and lazy does not make one a DOM. being unfair does not make one a DOM. being spoiled does not make one a DOM. he is comfortable enough to order you to dress, but then when you make a request he is uncomfortable?!?! says a lot about him. more than what i wish to say about him on here. i will keep it short though. PRETTY LAME

Dress approprate for the activity. suit and tie - very vanilla, all business. gym shorts and t-shirt -- just chillin. Bring me another iced tea if you go by the kitchen Blue jeans, safari shirt, and work boots - I'm comfortable and getting some work done. Kilt and Jacobite shirt with four inch wide leather belt and cutlass - SCA or Renfaire, I'm on my way Commando in leather jeans and silk shirt with high polished boots - be vewy vewy careful, I'm hunting subbies Stefan

Dressing up sexy can put one out of their comfort space, be they sub or dom. The results are usually worth it, but it can make one insecure to get there. Subs have built in motivation to overcome this insecurity. Doms don't. I'm a dom and dressing up is very fun, but I usually need that extra shove to get there.

What built in motivation? The threat of punishment? The threat of the end of the relationship? Sorry But i dont do punishment dynamics and if my partner wants to end a relationship because i dont want to dress like a two dollar whore for him, then I guess Im shopping for a new partner.
