Thank you for the very kind and generous compliments. Its nice to know that my message has been understood.

I did freelance writing for a period of time, but only to help others by sharing my knowledge of computers and to supplement my income in the early days of computer graphics and desktop publishing. At times I became a slave to creating & manipulating pixels in digital images. The online moniker of "Pixelslave" was originally never intended as a reference to this lifestyle; only to a man who at times felt chained to his computer, working hard to complete the work & get it out the proverbial door.

We read this posting with great intrest and sympathy. As we understood it the vast majiorty of people come here to use this site as a way to reach others who are of the same mind set as to likeing their lives, lived a perticular way. (sorry but that was the best I could do emcompassing to discrib all of it we do.) We also posted a simular sort of post ,I guess as the OP did in venting our flustration with how unresponsive it all can be . After all We all came here as a form of reaching out, didn't we? Then why is it so hard to get a responce from some one else who is proclaiming the same want of making a contact? It may very well be that your not going to match ,to any depth . But the flustration factor ,in having NO adult responce, can make a person just wanna grit their teeth! After all your suppose to be an adult .. and your suppose to be here because you want other people like your self to contact you! Why else bother putting up a profile? If not to have others contact you? LOL So we were in great empathy when we read the OP's question and saw our own flustrations being vented. We guess its not just any one slice of this "community " that is suffering this flustration , and lack of responcivness, but ALL aspects of it. Perhaps its a sad thing to relize about our socity as a whole, in the lack of common manners we have towards each other, and their efforts.

I get at least five one liners a day, I just hit block and then hide profile. Pretty soon all that will be left are the ones that actually took the time to send a real introduction and put their hearts into it and that's fine by me. It only takes five minutes of my time to do this and then thats it won't be bothered by them again. You just have to wade thru the crap sometimes to find the treasure and I have found one treasure already. Good luck in your search.

Hi Lotus,

I'm a little confused as to why this issue keeps coming up...but I'll address it again and as many times as I need to. I never stated that I was not involved in my local bdsm community. In fact, I am...but contrary to what you've stated here, attending brunches and meetings and such is actually no guarantee that you will meet someone. I'm a member of 3 lifestyle groups and as I said before, I attend as many functions as my schedule, health and budget will allow...and now I will also add, interest. Some events interest me and some just do not. So, I do try my best to go to those events that sort of, "speak to me," as it were.

Thanks for your response and I do hope that clears things up a bit.
