First off, find a talented counselor, don't be afraid to interview them, don't be affraid to tell one that their style doesn't work for you.

Secondly, get ready to uncover hidden emotional landmines. You act on this fantasy you will probably freak out at some point, you will perhaps switch from it being a hot fantasy to all to real and reject the act and probably the partner. Know this, accept it, and most importanly, pick someone who can provide you with and is willing to offer long term aftercare, doing otherwise will certainly make things worse not better.

What I was told was when you've been raped there no is control over the outcome. Simulating rape has a different outcome. It should be w/ someOne you trust. Being a victim myself I found it to be healing. At the end, being held and feeling safe was the best part.

I have done the rape scene and also been raped for real. I don't connect the two at all in my head like I hear a lot of people do. I know that I didn't want it from him, but I do from my Master..so there isn't a way for me to mix it up.

I had the fantasy before I was raped, and have continued to have it after. I questioned it at first, then realized that I know that who I am with is very safe and that it's all in play. There is nothing not normal about thinking about rape scenes if you have been raped.

There is a chance it could bring up the past though, so I could proceed with huge caution..other than that, don't let guilt eat away at you. It's your body, you have to control to give it pleasure however you see fit. Take that right back from the ones that stole it in the first place.

Let me try with another twist, and from someone for whom the experience was more than 30 years ago but still fresh (including being bound and abused):

It is strange how arousal can come from something that was so frightening and humiliating. I agree with the comment that in the fantasy we can obtain control. I'm not sure, though, why that makes me want to re-live the experience, unless it is that I can have control of the choice of partner(s).

I would usually be viewed as a well-balanced, mature adult, but this experience is a very dominant (freudian slip?) part of my personality and psychological makeup.
