Rose Red is incredible too.

The random apearence and disapearence of entities in the scenes. I was so embarrased after my "scared screamy girl" reaction...

I confess... I cannot watch horror movies at all.  I'm a wimp.

I am not a fan of horror for the sake of sensationalism.
But if you can consider a suspense tale with a twist of horror,
Dee Snider's "Strangeland", is one of my favorite flicks.
I like it because it has a real world plot, without sensational devices.  Well.. except for those lovely cages.. yummmmmm

How about a classic?  American Werewolf in London.  lol.  That goes back a few years.  It scared the hell out of Me when that first came out.  I had nightmares about it.

My ex took me to see that when we were dating... swore it wasn't scary.   I should have taken that as a sign not to marry him.

I don't know if it is considered horror or not..but Pet Semetary (yes it is spelled with an S) is a pretty good movie. The Devil's Rejects as well as House of 1000 Corpses (watch this first, then Rejects) are really good movies. The newest Omen was good as well. Hmm...*thinks* I'm a horror movie whore. =D So yeah..I love 'em all, no matter how cheesy. I cannot think of any others that haven't been mentioned.

When "Friday the 13th" came out, I told my folks it wasn't really that bad, hehehe
told my ex that "Poltergeist" was just about a mischevious little ghost, roflmao
Nobody asks me anymore about movies, I don't know why.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show was more fun than scary to watch! T..t...t...touch me I wanna be dirrrrty! hehehe

I love the psychological thrillers and I am very sad that no one has mentioned Silence of the Lambs or the Hand that Rocks the Cradle. Now that is some messed up stuff.

Amytiville Horror was awesome as was Rose Red and many of the others mentioned.
