Well, when you have children, while resizing your window works - it just seems more annoying than collarme.com going and selling advertising to BDSM oriented sites and possibly giving their members another service and not just annoying them with unwanted ads.

Then again, getting rid of the guys typing with 1 hand is always a bonus too.

is Solinear really ok with the kids seeing her looking at BDSM stuff but not ok with nudity?

I'm more than a bit surprizd to see how many people here are concerned about seeing the pics. Society at large is so unacepting of what it is we do that I would think we would tend to be more hesitant to be offended by simple images and ideas. Guess I'm just terribly naive sometimes.

It is true that if you just hang out in the message area you don't see them. If email is a problem, use Yahoo. it would save the hosts' bandwidth and disk space anyway.

It is sad that the site claims to be something it's not, but that really isn't CM's fault or responsibility. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth means that if you are buying as horse you should examine it's teeth and assess it's value before purchase but if someone is generous enough to GIVE you one then you should just say "thanks" and take it. looking for defects in the horse is insulting.

I have not been a frequent visitor lately, but i have browsed the personals from time to time. I don't think looking for a sub online is that great an idea but every once in a while I figure "why not browse?" What I've noticed more than anything is that there are no new people in the personals. It's mostly the same profiles and faces month after month. Why is that? If there is such a market for paid personals sites like alt and AFF why doesn't CM, which is free, have more participation? I suspect it is because CM doesn't pay to have advertising on other websites like amatuermatch (should call it "promatch" or "homatch") does. This site relies mostly on word-of-mouth. I for one try to keep the press positive. I also clicked on the ads a few times and made a free account. They won't get a dime from me but if the hits convince them to keep paying for space that's fine with me.

Susie i'm in complete agreement. The site is a crock at best.The chat room locks up my screen and there's NO ONe even remolty close to where I live.The site is just plain rotten.

The advertising is a way for CM to pay for the bandwidth We all use.

So many times have I seen a "free" site go from a small gathering of people to a larger community then to paid registration like bondage and alt.

As far as seeing "sluts" from your area there is a cookie like implementation used to display your locality for the ads.

Believe Me if theose women were around and available I would know about it. ;

Ever notice how some ads and profiles seem to have pics that appear to be "too polished"?...like right out of a porn or model site?
