Greeeting to A/all,
    I have been a lurker for far too long and now I have decided that it is time to step up to the plate and start contributing a little.  My question to A/anyone is, when I check the profiles, I notice that most Masters/Dominants have pics to allow those that might be interested in them to see.  Why is it that the slaves/submissives do not follow the same example?  I can understand that the digital age has not come cheaply yet know that most know someone who could take a pic and send it to the slave/submissive for them to post.  Sorry if this has been asked before but it does peak my curiosity.

I think many women dont do it because the guys will end up responding more to the pics than the person.

If the person is not the most attractive thing in the world..they get nasty emails from guys just wanting to make sure they know how unattractive they seem to them.

If the person is a nice looking person (or a hottie as may be the case) everyone and their brother wants her just because of her looks and not because she may be a compatible partner.

It gets old for many.

Thats just my observation though.   [8|]

I never posted my picture for privacy reasons.  In the past, a Dominant who wanted my picture needed only to inquire privately.  Plus, if someone was gong to be interested in me, I preferred it to be because of my dynamic personality, rather than my exquisite good looks. [;)]

Collar me is not like Alt. You do not have to be a member here to see someone's pic. It is for that reason that I will not post one. If I am to be outted it will be my doing and not because someone was surfing the net. Any one who wants to see what I look like only needs to ask.

I will be honest I do not know the percentage of women or men who post pictures, but I would be surprised that men post their pictures in a significantly higher percentage then women. It was my experience that very few men had pictures in their profile as I am sure women were the same.

Reasons are different for different people but I think both genders have the same reasons to use. For some it is safety and just not wanting to be outed. For some they believe that they will get a higher quality response by not posting their picture while others believe more responses will give them a better chance and therefore post their picture. For some they might think their physical appearance is a strong asset and want to show it. At the same time there are people who might think the opposite and post a picture so they do not get their time wasted.

Everyone has their reasons, who knows which works best overall but probably to each their own situation.

Thanks A/all.  This is a new perspective that I never thought about.  Well actually T/they all are. I know that one can use an avatar also, yet many don't even go to the bother of that.  Have much to think about and A/all new perspectives.  Personally I have my pic here as I am, I didn't realize that anyone could browse, duh!  With this knowledge I will go and grow.

    Sir, I can udnerstand Your frustration and can offer why I do not post mine. I think we can all agree that being attractive to ones Sir and vs versa is important but I belive its to a MUCH lessor degree than her willingness, ability and eagnerss to serve. Wanting to be valued for who I am and THEN what I look like is what promts me not to post mine. I tend not to post my image also because frankly the serious Sirs will take time to email regardless of images and it cuts down on trolling and the players.

I'm an exhibitionist online, but rather shy in person.  I take my chances in posting my pictures purely because it makes it more real and a bit more dangerous for me.  That gets me off.

i can certainly understand all the reasons why people don't post pictures, however, i happen to like pictures because they put a face to the personality...

i post mine because some how i feel safe and isolated waaaaaaaaaaay out here....with a pit bull and a roomate....but if i was on the mainland...no way...too many wingnuts.
 
i agree with dawn too (nice new pic btw) i like to have a face to go with the personality...and i agree with crappy, that was freaking hot aileen!
