Squadron????   Shee-it.  The USAF has entire Command (as in Strategic Air Command) devoted to things above 50 miles high.

No my point is you are over reacting. Nothing is going to happen. China is not going to start a war with you they are not ready. Bush could pull troops from Iraq to use against China but i think the hassle he would get would not be worth it.
Might i suggest that you put down the bottle - get some black coffee and actually read and take in what i'm saying.

Yet your main point of contention is some news report that says China will not be a superpower till a couple decades from now. I'll leave it at this...how far along did they say China was at to conducting something like an asat test until they went and did it?

China is merely pointing out that ancient technology will suffice to knock out low level satellites which are the backbone of our current and foreseeable military technology.

China is not the bucktooth and slant eyed little shitpeddlers you think they are boys and girls, and while I am not going to look up the posts, there was a bemoaning among computer geeks on this site around fall last year regarding their outselling us in technology last year at the tune of about twice what we did. It was repleat with links.

ku fu chi sui ka...
syn?  you take shit better than I, do you wanna try explain the concept and why  it would be the epitome of profound  suicide to fuck around and try to dictate policy to China in less circumstance than a world war?

You are over reacting as is per norm for you. Any chance to be aggressive and you take it and love it.

What we need here is a link to that Monty Python song

"There's 800 million of them" (it's an old song)
"So you better learn to love'em"

First chinas fast growing econemy is still too reliant on outside imports and exports, so alienating itself would not be something they would want to do with out very good reason.. see source below..

http://www.ers.usda.gov/AmberWaves/February05/Findings/ChinaEconomicGrowth.htm
China's Economic Growth Faces Challenges

China has also put into play various diplomatic schemes which would be pointless if they planned to take military action on such a scale... Source below..

china's implaments harmonious diplomacy

This report also states that although china wants to take Taiwan back as part of china, they would rather do so by diplomacy, party because of the risk of intervention by other states. If it came to military action they lack the ability to do so confidently enough to take the risk. see source below..

Heh.... I'm on a ''paid-for'' {For investment purposes} newsletter list from one guy that's an analyst from Janes’ and another who's a preeminent authority on the PLA and it's military capabilities.

We may be hurting in the areas of strategy, the commander and chief and manpower, but when it comes to technology and neat little gadgets in the form of weaponry, our R&D facilities are light years ahead of the PLA.

They can't develop it themselves; it's either acquired through bribes or espionage - And one of these days we're libel to get a few statesman in office and you'll see a lot of the front companies they use for espionage disappear.

then it's just a short step to space based weapons that can hit targets on earth... something every country has been avoiding for a long time...  I'm just rambling.

Ummm.  No they have not.  The US has been developing that technology for some time that I know of for sure.  They have approached Canada to jointly fund the project and Canada turned them down (for whatever reason I have no idea).  The principle behind the technology is to shoot ICBMs out of the air before they reach their target.  I can not see for the life of me how that would not benefit Canadians, especially coupled with NORAD.

1.  It is dependant on low flying satellites which China can dismiss out of hand with talcum powder in an egg.
2.  New ideas on the bench are being developed within our R&D facilities---are people that fucking stupid?--who might these people be?  CHECK THE NAMELIST--Jayne's military manual got a name on that?  Mr. Chen and Mr. Yang work on the math, guys---we are a melting pot. There will be no 'statesman' in our near or distant future that will settle that.
3.  They can support a groundwar that will seriously SHOCK AND AWE you.

But you kids go ahead and play army, you got insurance.

C'mon Chief.... I know a few of us here have been overly hard W, shotgun and the rest of the gang, but that shouldn't give you cause to reduce this country to the equivalent of a Guatemala.

Whoa.....they'd have to get over here first.....Haven't you read about their navy? As soon as the shade of blue goes from light to dark, they turn those ships around and head them back into port. Besides....it wasn't but a few years ago that a reactor in one of their nuclear subs malfunctioned and she went 'crispy'  - They were so embarrassed they didn't even send out a salvage team

Was that after they had completed a day trip to Windscale (UK) and then 3 Mile island. US.

For the first 20 years or so after the Windscale leaks officials denied any incidents had occurred. Thn they admitted it but said that the public was not at risk. When above average clusters of Leukemia in children started appearing the name of the sight was changed and official said  there was no connection.

With regard to your Italian shoes....Chinese manufacturers charge more  dollars when they stamp the shoes <Italian> which by the way are made in a village in Shensing province.. The name of the village when written in Chinese symbols emerges as eeetalee which actually means a talisman representing oriental superiority
