Well for that look back at all the postings and replies to my topic.
My profile nor my post were neither harmful, insulting, aggressive, rude, or anything other than simple honest and upfront about who I am and why I'm here.
I understood that my not being proven, or my complete and total masking of who I am would cause people to question me, not believe me or what I have to offer. But Complete and utter Mockery? I guess Maturity and respect are too much to hope for these days. I'm only offering to help people. Guess the only way people can get help is if they air their dirty laundry for all to see.
I am sure my second post about my SM Advice Hotline would seem rather immature at first glance, but my intention was to make a serious and clear point to all the newbies you are trying to help as to why I dont ask questions to anonymous profiles who suddenly appear one day, claiming to have many years of experience without any credentials, and offering advice and help that would influence matters in my own personal and love life.
As I said in my first post, you set yourself up for this one. Welcome to the world of Internet message boards! There is the 50% who use the boards for a little shot of ego booster from slapping their own ass and mocking those who know less and are inferior to them, the 30% who come to read their own bullshit, and the 20% who actually provide helpful and useful information (L.A. and MasterFireMaam are two examples of people who have made a large impression on me with their intiellgent and useful posts).
Personally, I rarely ever post any of my own questions here solely for that reason. I sometimes post replies with my own opinions and theories in a humble attempt to be helpful when I have something to say that pertains to my own experiences (But only occassionally do I actually know what I am talking about, hence why I only have made 55 posts over roughly half a year). If I need advice, however, I have a few mentor types from the local communities that I know, trust, and respect who are more than happy to help me. I rather get real advice from them on the first try then weed threw 200 posts of utter crap.
But the people I WOULD ask advice from off Collarme.com are people who have a substantial track record of educated and intiellgent posts on the forums and I can safely say that they actually know what they are talking about. I look forward to reading your future posts and hopefully you will develop that track record as well so I can list you as an Internet entity you can safely ask for realistic advice from.
