Wow I get sick and come back and four pages later the history and focus of Wicca. So many good posts too. LMAO at some. What I thought was funny after hearing who was on the show was why would you put a White Witch, Black Witch, Satanist all together unless you wanted a confrontation of some sort to come about. It would have been more interesting to me to hear how different Wicca can be. Just as others have said here that they woship differently so do Wicca. Alone or in groups. It is as diverse as Christianity. The Tyra Banks show was just giving the people hype.

Remember that talk shows pay guests to come on the air and spout emotional garbage and confrontational opinions, especially during Sweeps Week. I missed the show, but the whole setting and discussion sound ridiculous. It seems to be the Epitome of modern times & coupled with the internet explosion we have various websites all proclaiming to help you with matters of the supernatural and paranormal all for a price, while im not against the old custom of greasing ones palms with silver in order to assist with certain matters like reading your palms or doing a tarot or telling your future i do thing its being poorly exploited. Many old customs were based upon our lack of knowledge at the time and certain individuals exploited the 'gap in the market' so to speak like those such as Mr P.T. Barnum the famous circus owner who performed 'fortune-telling' acts by using generalisation i.e. : you have a alot of unused talent you have not put to your advange, sometimes you doubt your own decision, sometimes you are sociable sometimes you are very closed, security is one of your main goal.... did some of this apply to you? Now go look at the internet with certain websites like be-psychic.com they use the old method of making you read for half an hour then convincing you it can be done but you have to pay FIRST. 'hey YOU can be psychic just give me a hundred bucks first!' Is it me or is there something terribly wrong with this! Those seeking alternatives arent exactly the most stable of people (sorry if thats YOU).
