Leave it brother. It's poifect. Not all Christians or believers in the Trinity, or Yaweh, or Christ or Alah are going to be offended by that. Just those without a sense of humour. Or humility.

Lady E. Absolutely. Those that identify with and relate and take into themselves the humility which Christ espoused and exhibited, continue to do their works quietly and without notice... Just as God wants in the first place.

After, all, just like "God" said on that episode of Futurama, to Bender...

I'm no longer a Christian, and now follow a more natural belief system, but my spirituality is still in tuned, and many of those lessons learned in child hood are put to work for me in my daily life dealing with people... But as a result of those same people, I'd have to say this one works specifically for me:

Jesus please save me from _____ _____." (stupid people)

Speaking as a Christian, I have never had an issue with that tag line save the addition of one little word: "some" (or "most"). I think it paints everyone who espouses the teachings of Jesus with too broad a brush.
 
I wasn't personally offended, per se but that is because I am not narrow-minded. I understood that (in my mind) it was meant to point out the frequent closed-mindedness of bible thumpers.
 
Also to be remembered that if those bible thumpers are correct, God created us in His image so, He must have a sense of humor, also. No?
 
In closing, I will say that I am an open-minded follower of Jesus.

I don't find it at all offensive. Even if I were a 'believer', it certainly wouldn't offend me to think that some people might find humor, irony, or validity in such a statement.

OP: I'm a Christian (Catholic if you want specifics... or if you didn't [:D]), and I don't have a problem with your sig. The people that do, probably have had a butt plug in too long and/or shoved up too high. Crap got into their brains. Just mho [:)]

I love it! It made me laugh so hard when I first saw it a while back. It's just true, that's why some find it offensive. I was told my job was evil by one of the beloved christians today because I work in a sex toy store. They're trying to save me right into a homeless shelter I guess ^_^

I don't feel the need to be saved from or by Jesus ... however, I can think of a few other things that qualify - like big creepy spiders! <<shudder>>
 
Keep the sig - as most have stated - I don't find it offensive,  just incredibly funny, and for the most part, true.
