Wow i hate housework i do it in my house because is necessary.  However if my Master asked me to clean his house i would do it, i might not be happy about it but if it made him happy would be enough for me.

As for the cooking i am a very good cook my mom made sure her 4 daughters and even her 1 son learned to cook.  I love cooking.

Actually, Geeky, it was the opposite for me.

My life was similar to yours- I was raised half on good southern cooking and half frozen dinners I cooked for myself.  My mother was quite grateful for the invention of the microwave.  I was never expected or told to keep my room clean and, as I said in my original response, I'm not a terribly neat person.

I think partly BECAUSE of that, and because I now have a "home" to care for, I feel a special responsibility for myself to keep it well and to be able to show my abilities and have company over and be proud of my work.

Again, though, I wouldn't feel a lack of fulfillment by not doing daily chores and I don't relish doing them really.  But since I do have to do them, I take pleasure where I can.

I can understand how you would feel that way. For me, the "domestic" urge never blossomed. I kind of wish it had...but I'm only 24, so maybe there is still time.

I'm in agreement here.........If I've got to the point where I trust someone enough to own me, then why would I not entrust my children's welfare to them. It's almost unavoidable, as the things that affect me will ultimately affect them.

Mine have gravitated toward him because he has elicited their respect through being the person he is. They ask for his opinion and thoughts because they trust him.

There's no question about the order of things; it's not spelt out or thrust down throats.....it's been quietly imbibed but also seen as the *way things are for Mum, by choice* .....not the way things are for everyone.

there is no such thing as a slave with children, or a husband.  the only exceptions to this are if the children are your dom's and if the husband is your dom as well. eing a slave requires complete commitment, body mind, and sould.  having other intimate family priorities cannot cannot coexist with this.  someone may want to be a slave, and have the mindset to be a slave, but that is no different from my grandfather playing in the nfl.  it simply cannot be done, and to say otherwise is saying that your desires are reality.

Oh, Phooey.

ETA: I understand why vanilla folks have kids...their sex life is boring anyway and they don't have much to lose. Totallly confounds me why kinky folks would want them though.

the most ridiculous statement ever uttered

my ex and i didn't have children because our sex life was boring. we had very active sex life before, during and after kids - it was other circumstances which led to our divorce. yet i wouldn't exchange my life now with my 2 beautiful ums for anything in the world.

you're young and you would never understand the joy and love i feel being a single mother. i'm currently dating a Dom who would love to have a baby of our own one day. of course we  won't be having sex or doing BDSM activities in front of them however the doesn't mean we won't be having any fun behind bedroom doors.

*pats head*

There, there.  I know it's tough being told that you can't possibly be who you say you are and that someone else obviously knows more about yourself and who you can be than you do.

We'll get you through it, take deep breaths.
