I think tre is going to have a hard time getting enough converts to make his Utopia viable. ::chuckles::

True enough but there's always the world of golf for those who appreciate the segregation and humiliation of women. You're right, the utopia ain't getting off the ground :-)

Hey Swankster, those monks you are touting as being examples of sexless virtue? Well many of them are either asexual or homosexual, so they are banging each other... I am sure there is competition for the best piece of manflesh amongst them.. just an observation.

Treswank, you are a funny guy, but your point gets lost in all the extraneous crap you throw in there.  If you trim out all the fluff your post would probably be four lines long and sorry ass saps like me could probably make it through.  lol.  As it is, I could not make hide nor hair of it, nor find your point amongst all the extraneities.

Just a matter of simple observation if you are interested.

The U.S. Navy?

Imagine a world where men can smile GENUINE smiles at each other in the morning while going to RELEVANT jobs that don't perpetuate the ideals of greed and rampant commercialism. (You know - shit that's NECESSARY, instead of Victoria's Secret and the GAP)  Imagine a world where men treasure each other's lives and souls more than they enjoy waxing lustful over parasitic snatch.

That's the Garden of Eden before Eve's iniquity.

This sounds like a remake of "Lord of the Flies" to me.

Well sounds like a good idea and all, but my noble savage ways do pose a simple question.

Exactly what are we supposed to do with our swingers if we dont enjoy man-ass?

Looks like the BBC already beat you to it Tre;
they have a new documentary program along these lines.

"Women desert village for TV show"

Filming has begun for a TV series which will examine how a community copes without women for seven days.

The villagers of Harby, near Lincoln, are taking part in The Week The Women Went, commissioned by BBC Three."

Well, I don't know Celeste. The way I see it, strip away the layers of civilisation and we're no more than rutting animals. I'm not that interested in inner peace......I'm thinking locked house, woman, canes, food to cook...."household utopia, the shortest post ever".

Hmm.. seven days, huh? Doesn't seem like enough time for a really good test. I mean, even Survivor is 39 days! ::laughs::

Perhaps the producers could not afford the liability insurance

My post is not discursive, nor is it especially difficult to grasp it's gist.  If I would have summarized anything, it would have damn well brought on more "What are you guys gonna do without somebody to iron your pants?" commentary.  But, if you'd like a shortened version, I'll give it a noble attempt.

Women are bad for men.  Women are "smoke and mirrors" illusory, mercurial, and emotionally draining.  Men, when left to their own, without the constraints of the temptation of snatch, will bond and learn valuable life lessons.  Christian ideals, tolerance, and achievement will reign supreme in "Mantopia".   Without women, men will cease to desire surface-deep material wealth and competition, and instead, turn to useful interactions.

~Fast Reply~

You know, the same effect of peace and brotherhood and all that could be accomplished merely by cutting off all the men's *ahem* apparatus. Same logic applies.

I think at first you would all be quite happy spouting poetry and jotting down observations about bees, etc. Of course you'd want to share those observations to better your fellow man, right? Queen bee rules the hive and all that stuff. But at some point someone would find his bee observation contributions far superior. Now you've got a bee elitist in your realm. He's sure to develop followers, sure to agitate a crop of menly folk who aren't impressed. Do the agitated allow this bee elitist his claim to fame? No, they strive to knock him down. They try to discredit him, to show what a bad example of a leader he is. They offer up their own bee elitist. You're either one of us or one of them. Debate, discussion, politics, blah blah blah, fight fight fight, history repeats...
So, what did you learn? The queen bee rules the hive. Without her, nothing gets done. You need us. Now be good little worker bees.

I'll have to say "NO" on this one.

Right now, I'm suffering from the worst case of food poisoning.  As an off-note, I'd like to state that bar food isn't good for ANYONE.

Gosh, sugarcandy.  People actually LIVE in Delaware?   I rode through the state once at the age of eighteen, and didn't see a SINGLE PERSON.

Dela-WHERE?  Dela-WHY?   Dela-WHAT?

I was always under the distinct impression that Delaware was only inhabited by robots, and ascetic curmudgeon types.  If I were a wanted criminal, I sure as hell know where I'd traipse off to in order to avoid capture.

Okay; I've just came up with the coolest Delaware motto.  Here it goes:

Delaware:  Yes, it's actually a state.

                     or maybe

Delaware:  No, it's not in the Middle East.

                   Perhaps:

        This ain't your Daddy's Delaware.

                     How about this?:

Delaware:  We'll give you twenty dollars if you can find us on the map.

                  Screw the subtle B.S.

Delaware:  We don't even know where the hell we are.

I did my best to defend the gates of  "Mantopia" in your abscence....Food poisoning obviously some Earth woman left out the mayonnaise too long.

It's amazing to me how the idea of a "Mantopia" has not simply been accepted....The unanimous response should simply have been,"Wow think how mankind, meaning "only" men, could have prospered in such of an environment!" Instead the weak minded dare not think "out of the box" but fall back to the failures of ourselves and our forefathers by defending the status -quo. These simpletons are unable to grasp all that is possible without "fun bags"  clouding our every thought and judgement.

It's beautiful...Man! Another 77 degree day....Every sunset is spectacular! Just sitting here smoking a pipe with a fine brew...Wondering if tomorrow I should go hang gliding or create a new form of algebra...Fuck! Why not do both.

My inner pedant can't resist pointing out that worker bees are female. The males, drones, largely save their energy for mating, though they do help regulate the hive's temperature.
