hot1 -> RE: Lobster (2/9/2007 10:18:49 PM)

Does that mean you are going to come take care of me?

HydroMaster -> RE: Lobster (2/9/2007 10:28:03 PM)

HydroMaster -> RE: Lobster (2/9/2007 10:35:31 PM)

With the cold medicine flowing...give me three months.  Where the hell am I going?  I can't remember where I parked....better make that four months

hot1 -> RE: Lobster (2/9/2007 10:36:12 PM)

ROFL.....head NORTH....I am north...lol

HydroMaster -> RE: Lobster (2/9/2007 10:39:05 PM)

All road north lead to you....I think there might be problem with that logic.  North, I'm cold enough where I am.

LOL....baby you don't know cold til you get here.....but don't worry..I will keep you warm

HydroMaster -> RE: Lobster (2/9/2007 10:49:32 PM)

I don't know.  I has been in the negatives here at night.  A balmy 5 degress in the day.

hot1 -> RE: Lobster (2/9/2007 10:50:44 PM)

I get confused with the temps now....i know it was minus 25 C here today with wind chill...but not sure what that is in F

HydroMaster -> RE: Lobster (2/9/2007 10:54:01 PM)

Sorry, chemistry was my worst subject.  I couldn't convert those then and can't now.  Lobsters cook at 375 F, crabs too.

hot1 -> RE: Lobster (2/9/2007 10:54:36 PM)

LOL

HydroMaster -> RE: Lobster (2/9/2007 11:06:54 PM)

My closing statement for the evening on lobsters.  Lobsters do not deserve humane deaths.  Feel free to slaughter the little pricks any way you choose.  Never trust an animal that heavily armed.  Just be sure they are fully cooked to ensure disease free dining.

Zensee -> RE: Lobster (2/9/2007 11:17:06 PM)

Geez you two - get a room already!

But still. Screw the lobsters, i'm impressed with the humans. Do lobsters actually feel? Anyone know anything about lobsters?

I put myself through college on the proceeds from my own claming business and I hauled lobster pots for my highschool shop teacher every weekend. The guys over at URI Sea Grant College once told me lobsters have very slow nervous systems and said when you throw em in boiling water, "they're dead before they know they're in trouble"
   I currently live within two blocks of two of the top ten lobster brokerages in the country... Never seen anybody even blink about anything to do with lobsters. At the supermarket level I suppose there are people who get all PITA about lobsters ... here in gloucester, they're just a paycheck for most people.
