Status: offline 		I think its silly to assume that on bdsm sites overweight people come to hide....def. not the situation, as some people have rightly pointed out. I don't think there are any more overweight people represented here than on vanilla sites or on any other group online or offline. Being overweight is just that, not ugly or with no lives.

Status: offline 		I think that simply the overweight women here have more confidence and a comfort level that allows them to submit photos. They're not afraid of their sexuality and the 'lifestyle" is pretty tolerant of "whatever floats your boat"

5-9 200lbs

Status: offline 		It actually is an insightful question if you can view it as not being offensive...For instance if there was a grant given to sexual therapists or sexologists or scientist to answer the question posed they would look into it without bias...without being sensitive or insensitive to someones feelings....The question is......Now let's find the answer.

It isn't out of being shallow or insensitive but it didn't take long out here till the same thought occurred to me ....And I'm sorry but I did ask myself the exact same question.

But, as far as why are there more heavy people, etc. I don't know... I honestly couldn't tell you.  I, as a "curvy" woman ended up here at this point in my life for my own reasons, non of which had anything to do with my weight.

Well, I could point out, when I was looking for my Master, I would say to myself why are there so many "American" men here... where are all the good-looking foreign men I so adore?  Seemed like a lot of all too white-bread red-blooded american boys for my tastes.  This was simply my observation, and this is what I noticed. You are going to find patterns in almost anything in life... you may notice too many fat people, I noticed a serious lack of ethnicity (until the right guy from Chile found me... lol)...

Ok, who's got the Guiness and chips?

ps... don't flame me about the white-bread american thing, I was born in the USA too.... just, my "choice" tends to be towards men with a nice accent and some hot blood

Status: offline 		Okay... Here is an issue.. The issue of being overweight is over inflated...
I once weighed 475 lbs on my 6'-1 frame.. No one ever guessed me to weigh over 350.. Now that I weigh 350, no one guesses me to weigh more than 275. So what.. I intend to lose another 125.. but NOT for how I look, but for my health. I do not care what someone thinks about my appearance. My weight was put on due to an autoaccident and I am unable to exercise. I have lost the weight by shear will power. Fasting sometimes up to four days with nothing but water. Now I am on a more controlled diet of my own design but losing an average of 2.5 pounds a week.

Now.. I know a woman on here that is lovely at her 5'-8 and 240 lbs, and yet people treat her like she is worthless because of her weight. She is one of the sweetest ladies I have known and she deserves a lot of respect, her weight should not be an issue. Her heart should be the issue.

I know another woman that is 5'-0 and 98 pounds and her friends have her convinced she is fat, she wanted to lose 20 more pounds, I had to almost get in a fight with her to get her to agree to stop where she was. She still feels fat but she is maintaining her weight because she respects my opinion and has realized that her friends were leading her on a road tht could have killed her.

Basically... here... on collarme the population of overweight people reflects the general populace with maybe a slightly elevated amount more, but I really do not think so. For I see just as many thin and slender, but they are usually already taken, or they are scamming people, or they are cam-pimping for some other site.

But we have to be careful judging overweight people.. because they are lovely and wonderful people.. It is the heart of the Dom and submissive, not the body.

In fact i would say my self esteem went up as a result of being in this life style and thus being more " in demand " than when i was in vanilla world. Also i have thought perhaps we just go farther than others, are thrill seekers and sensaton cravers thus if food is out thang we can overdo it. but i was interested in hearing other opinions because my thoughts were by no means conclusive.

also to the intelligent individual who wanted to skewer me... i m not a guy, LMAO. i rather like getting skewered tho if its with a nice thick cock

Status: offline 		This lifestyle is about being WHO you are WITHOUT the fear of OSTRIZATION and REPRISAL.  When questions such as the OP comes up, WE who are targeted feel OSTRISIZED.  This goes for any topic that targets a specific group of people.  It is only natural that we come out on the defense.  Why can't we just accept people for who they are without wondering why they are a particular way?  As long as no one is getting hurt in the process just let people be.  If you see someone of interest, show them your interest.  If they don't fit your particular interest, leave them alone.

Status: offline 		Exactamundo! We ALL look for things, we ALL notice things we dislike, no one and i mean NO ONE is innocent of being biased! I have my tastes and they are varied and although certain observation are not welcomed i.e. 'why are there so many over weight etc etc' I do feel you have to show abit of character when addressing these questions otherwise some other clever person will ask the same thing...again.
