Why do so many dommes like to dominate?

I have been looking at many profiles lately. I see dommes who administer CBT. I see dommes who don strap-ons. I see dommes who enjoy receiving service. I see dommes who dish out humiliation.

At first glance, you may take no notice. But when you study this data carefully, you see a very strong statistical correlation between dommes and the interest to dominate. I think I am on to something here!

Do you think dommes like to dominate? What are your thoughts about the pattern I am seeing?

Indeed the question is not sincere--it is presented as a joke.

Even without the context that flavors the question as a joke, I don't see what makes the question condescending.

Cute question. Well in this lifestyle you can either be a Dominant, a submissive, a switch or a spectator.
I enjoy dominating because I have a Dominant personality and I could/would not be the submissive. [:D]

At a prior job with a high tech company, I wasonce paging through a work related magazine. My eyes caught sight of an ad that said, call now your free CBT demo CD ROM! I almost fell outta my chair! Turns out, there they meant computer-based training ;-)

I suppose the other interpretation of CBT also has some relevance ;-)

I think that could be a name for a film. I am not sure what story would be in the film. Perhaps it can be a story about the life of a grasshopper. Now I know grasshoppers don't exactly come from a womb. But I just saw Memento and so I think the film industry is forgiving of minor inconsistencies like that ;-)

I was at a mandatory annual training, the end of which involves CBT according to the educators, and I crack up, holding my breath not to look like a loon laughing over the evil things in my mind related seemingly to computer based training.    M
