Im a gamer and have been since about 85.  In high school I was a member of the chess and computer club.  Played Magic: The Gathering for about 6 years (in tournaments too).  I read both space.com and nationalgeographic.com. Ive run S.E.T.I  (the screen saver that crunches the numbers) for about 4 years. Worked computer tech support for a major company, worked as Geek Squad for Best Buy. Going to start studying for my CCNA. The Matrix is real.

I went to college to study obscure irrelevent things that no one is interested in... and I plan to go to graduate school to do the same. My department had the highest overall GPA of the college I went to the year I graduated because we were all book worms. I think that reading philosophy in my spare time is fun. And lately I have been looking at quantum physics/mechanics and questioning the nature of reality... possibly to incorporate it into my graduate work.

I read every fantasy series I can get my hands on

I play RPGs

I need a pocket protector

But I still do not need glasses, I guess this is a strike against me[&:]

How did I do?

Pokemon's ok. Pikachu's the only one worth a damn though. Nothing beats the electroshock.

I bought them for my geeky son, yes he is even a bigger geek than me. He plays with practice swords.

Pokemon is a new geek thing and the target market is about 10yrs old lol.   Its also a MTG rip off. :)

Lesse, I have eeyores, snorlaxs and grumpy bears. I obviously have a thing for the depressive little blue characters.

I am a geek, and I am proud of my geekdom.  I even wear a shirt that says "Talk nerdy to me"
My slave is a tech support agent, and a gamer. I am surrounded by geekiness.
