Try plain white salt instead, save the ginger for figging.

Wondering what you mean by figging? I love ginger.

an overwhelming majority of herbs are of the family Mentha,
it is easy to tell a Mentha, because it has a square stem (perfectly square)
catnip
mint
spearmint
basil
lovage
borage
sage
lavender
and so on
and they are all ingestible---- (there are one or two exceptions, but you will never see them if you live  in earshot of the english language)

rhubarb, believe it or not is atringint and a stomachic, and when the wee one has the pukies, gnawing on rhubarb helps in miraculous ways.

I been reading and old thread from SirKenin when he was bitching about the Tyra Banks show when she had what appeared to be a Halloween party in talking about Casting Spells, that thread unwittingly raised an ethical debate on superstition and myth in the modern day world where a 'simple' talk show can end up poking fun at what some people actually live their lives by.

Being into the Occult, the dark, the unexplained and other phenomena i once waited in anticipation for a TV show to come on in England called 'The Face of the Devil', i've done quite alot of reading about various histories and origins of said 'Devil' and stupid STUPID me actually thought this was going to be a serious show...i may aswell have watched frikkin South Park or Aqua Teen Hunger Force (carl rules) this bloke presented the show..as you do giving a breif summary of what the purpose of the show was, to bring a kind of 'face' of the Devil so to speak...the show splits into 5 sections where they discuss serial killer Manson, some french dude who shot someone cos he is possesed by a 'Demon' the dude who shot people at night and said it was 'son of sam' (a dog), some famous house in the US where the basement was full of blood (not amytiville by the way) and they guy who lived there was getting strong compulsions to kill and the Jersey Devil...THEN the BEST part....they shoved all the faces together to form a childlike photofit! .....Laugh? I nearly SHAT! I wanted to kick the dudes brains out....now THAT belonged on Tyra Banks!

I find cinnamon, especially mixed into a bit of honey, to be a potent aphrodisiac.

That green fingy is Tenchi. He's the one that comes up with the good ideas. I just type.

I saw a show on the Discovery channel once on Valentines Day years ago, that talked about women's perfume and scents that are supposed to attract men. They actually did a study where the put scents to the test... literally. The only two scents that had the "affect" on the male (got a "rise" out of him... ahem) was Lavender and Cinnamon.  Found it very interesting.  To me lavender is that clean soap kind of smell, as well as being something you can cook with. Cinnamon is also a food scent. So, maybe the way to mans heart (or hard on) is through his stomach

Excuse me while I go put on some lavender perfume and hang around outside Cinnabon at the mall for a while... ha ha ha
