ORIGINAL: Sinergy Keep hoping, Mr. CorporateThug. Sinergy Y'know, Sinergy, I've bitten my tongue several times in this thread to keep it civil. Did you miss the part where I mentioned a 60% pay cut? I'm not informed enough to be over in the Unions thread but I can spot trends. Almost all the guys I was working with when it hit us lost those nice cars they driving, a couple wound up bankrupt. Change is inevitable. Replacing ya'll would cause some disruptions, but after a couple months, a chimp can carry luggage. I am not overly interested in debating your ability to keep it civil. When I have made a cogent point you have attacked juliaoceania's position. Whatever. She is a big girl. Intelligent. With a wonderful education and experience in debating her opinion. True, a chimp can carry luggage. I make 300 dollars with taxes carrying luggage and take home 400 dollars in tips for one days work. On the other hand, the CEO of Walmart, a renowned union basher, earned 10,000 times more than the average employee of Walmart last year. Your posts make it seem like you think the CEO of Walmart deserves to earn 34 million dollars a year, while the single mother working the cash register to sell stuff made in China to undercut US jobs, applying for federal aid and medicaid, deserves to only make as much as Walmart is willing to pay her. I find it hilarious that Walmart wanted to purchase American President Lines and it was stopped in court because the courts ruled it was not in the best interest of the United States economy because Walmart went into the negotiations stating up front that they would not allow union workers. This would cripple the US economy. I personally see the gross inequity here, and while I accept the fact that you are entitled to your opinion, I personally find myself astonished the life can exist in a mind that small. Peace, out.
