Eh, why not? Beer is an important part of my life, so I figured I'd ask everyone out there in CM-land... what's your favorite beer/alcohol/guilty pleasure (for those non-drinkers out there)?

Personally, I'm a fan of most of the smaller-brewery commercial lagers, as well as most ales. I've tried Budweiser and the like... they taste like alcoholic hop-water to me, with no real body to them. Pretty much the most commercial beers I'll drink are Rolling Rock, Sam Adams, and Yuengling, and I only go more eclectic from there. Tsingtao, Asahi, Warsteiner, Highlander Tasgall Ale... Lord, I've lost track of all the brands I've drunk. Can't stand IPAs, and I'm really not much a fan of stouts or porters, particularly the chocolate stouts.

I love Yuenglings Lager.  Drinking one right now actually.
And red wine.  I love simple Italian chiantis.
I had a really nice 97 Tuscan on V day.  That was not simple.  It was wonderful.
I like to smoke a cigar on occasion.
And I'm in a stoner phase of my life at the moment.

Edited to add:  A shot of tequila with a lime and no salt.  Yum

Umm.. well... you know the beers I like better then I do. *Grins* Yuengling, Corona, Rasberry Ale, hard cider (Granny Smith)... lots of girlie drinks. And I like Pinot Noir.

I have tried quite a few brands myself.  I love drinking beer to enjoy the flavor, having one or two here and there, especially with dinner.

I really like Tyskie, Kozel, Stella Artois, Blanche de Chambly, Black Sheep Ale and Rickard's Red.  When those are not available I drink Heineken.  I like quite a few others, but those are the main ones.  I do not like any of the major ones like Molson's products (Rickard's is the exception), Labatt's products (I'll bet donkey piss tastes better) or any of the other major breweries.  American beer is piss water.

I love smoking cigarettes.  I smoked pot and hash for 17 years, but gave it up.  I like nice wines and champagnes.  I enjoy a cigar on occasion.  I used to really like liquor and spirits, but for some reason I can not stomach them anymore.

Bacardi Superior
Amaretto Disaronno

My biggest guilty booze pleasure is buying the Bacardi party premixes, I like Hurricane or Rum Runner, in the smoothie machine, rummy, slushy perfection.....

(I detest beer)

I can drink and eat just about anything....but do have a some favorites....Love things with a bold flavor.... Wine:...Cabs...Beer:   Big Fucking double and triple IPA's or Imperial or coffee Stouts...slip in a Belgium every now and then  Booze: Whiskey ...WildTurkey, Knob Creek....Tequila: Patron or Don Julio.....Nothing gives me more discomfort than watching some nitwit who saw his/her favorite rapper drinking Patron and then making a margarita with it......STOOOPID!!!!  Pussy: Large and Gaping and Stanky!!!

Sometimes just for the sake of drinking will do the Jack and coke, or a Weiss beer...during the summer(tad bit gay) but try a Captain's and tonic refreshing and tasty...a little sweet though.

I like a good bourbon but don't indulge much anymore.  The Jim Beam Black Label is a favorite, either with Coke (never Pepsi) or straight.

I often have a Hornsby's (red label) after a warm day, but I never feel guilty about it.

I love cocktails ... most kinds actually... in the winter, like now, my favorite has been a Manhattan made with Wild Turkey 101 Proof...

In the summer, I like Planters Punch and I top that with a "hit" of Bacardi 151

I also like aged rum over the rocks.

A well made Sangria... YUMMY

Red wines of all kinds... especially from New Zealand, South Africa, Chile and Australia

Beer, not a big fan... sometimes Amstel Light... and I also like "Berliner Wasser" in the summer (I am not sure how it's spelled), basically an ale mixed with a lemon/lime soda... I had it in Germany, hits the spot when it's hot outside.

edited to add: Here's a shameless plug for a thread I started... if you have any cocktail recipes, please feel free to add, I'm always looking for more:

Stateside, and in the UK, that would be a Shandy- properly made with ale and lemonade, or a Gaff Shandy, made with ginger ale or lemon/lime soda, instead of lemonade. Perfect for those days when you are so hot and dry that you'll be drinking alot...

Since NYE2K, it's been my favorite drink. After that LONG show the night before, getting on that 7am American Airlines flight, getting seated, and hearing "Mr. Farglebargle, ( Hands FB menu ) would you care for something to drink?" /me scans menu, sees something new. "Maker's Mark, Rocks, Please". "Here you go Mr. Farglebargle", "TY".

It was JUST what was needed at the time!

well one of my favorites is "Pisco Sour" a nice drink made of moscatel grapes....very big in Chile, Peru and (a bit less) in Argentina....unfortunately seems to be little known in the New England area of the US....worth trying.

However that being said...I love the Mojito's and Manhattan's made by my pet....she is a natural bartender...
