Hell if that is a reason for hating men I should hate them as well. My father used me as his personal fuck toy when he was not beating the hell out of me and my mom just beat the hell out of me. So in theory I should be asexual and hate both men and women , but I dont because that means they win and I will be dam that they win. They are both dead and I am still here. I have not made the wisest choices when it comes to men but I am getting better at it. You have to forgive its not for them its for you, and hating a whole gender because of one person only hurts you. When you let go of the hate you have room for other things that are a lot more interesting and fun. Speaking from experience.
I was 40 yrs old when I put the demons of my father to rest came across a picutre of him and could not move just sat there with my arms wrapped around me, one of my kids came in saw the picture and took it away. I realzied he still had too much power so it took two week but I got it together placed that picture on a punching bag and beat it unti I could not stand up. Then I burned it and as he went up in smoke I could forgive and thank him for the lessons I learned I have great people skills because of my parents, because not being able to read their moods meant the difference between being left alone or hurt.
That must have been terrible. I am glad that you came out of it a normal human being. It must have been a battle dealing with all those demons. You are female, maybe you and Mike can become friends and show him how not to hate.
