Anyone can look up past threads on any topic here, if that's what they are looking for.  All they need to do is click on the Search link at the top of the page and type in whatever words you want and a very long list of links to past threads instantly appears.  It's really very easy to do and, like you said, it's nice to read fresh perspectives.  The old ones are easy enough to find on your own.

by the way I did not mean to cause  a stir , you must realize that when someone new comes to the boards, to see all the posts from days , weeks, mths past , can be overwhelming ....... I did appreciate the links, I will look at each one , and as someone pointed out there are probably people on the posts that do not post now, as there are newbies like myself that like the idea of posting to a new thread .... no disrespect was intended.........

The same characteristics that make a good dom make a good submissive and a good vanilla mate

I sat here and tried to think of one characteristic that makes a good dom different from a good sub... I just could not think of one... basically a good dom is a good person that is comfortable receiving power in a Ds dynamic

Hum.
I'm not sure if I could explain it clearly. In sociology we discussed the representation of words and their different meanings between people brought up in different households, as well as gender differences.

If I said a good sense of humor, some of you might think "Well, I like Tom and Jerry humor!" or "I like Southpark humor!" or even "I like Grey's Anatomy humor!" and think that is humor and it matches what I view as humor. What does that mean for me? Should I quote cartoons and movies to display my humor? But...I don't always find everything humorous.

So, in a way, I'm not sure what to say! I guess I like what I have. He is my kind of smart, my kind of witty, my kind of depraved, my kind of humorous, my kind of cuddly, and my kind of everything xD
