Believe it or not, there are many people (such as myself) who are unattached and NOT looking! Even people who say they are looking may only be doing so half heartedly. Maybe they are keeping themselves open to the idea of someone but not really into looking. Boggles the mind, doesn't it? Kyst

As you had precious few (if any) posts to these forums for me to gauge whether or not you were simply being sarcastic or not, I based my reply upon the actual question you asked, and responded by the tone the words you chose with which to apply that question. If you were simply being sarcastic, then there is no reason to be wildly offended by what was a mistaken understanding of your unnoticed wit. You didn't take umbrage at my interpretation of your question when you first responded to my initial reply to your OP (from which that quote was taken)... but okay... no harm, no foul!

I guess I am curious why attractive and available seem to be the only qualifiers in a woman? If she is attractive and available, why isn't she owned - is that the question?

I suppose the word attractive could be stretched out to mean more than physical appearance, but let's be honest... most will pass by those who are physically unappealing and never know any of their other, finer attributes to keep on searching for a "hottie with a heart" (notice which comes first in that trite little sequence of words, hehe)... just the way things work most of the time, sadly.

The OP said attractive profiles and pictures....meaning he has not talked to these women at all. The question as I understood it is, "If you're good looking, why aren't you owned?" Seems to be an interesting qualifier so I questioned it.

to answer your question, i suppose you would feel better if every unclaimed subwould rush into a relationship taking the first available Dom she meets with the potential of it being unsafe and harmful to her. oh i wish i had your fantasy pov that every Dom i meet in the world is loving and caring like Daddy and no one will harm us. wake up! like every relationship, we have the right be selective when meeting the opposite sex. i personally wouldn't want anyone who was below my set of standards and/or intelligence ...who couldn't respect me as a woman and as a submissive - so i'm not going to settle for the first Dom who notes me and i'm sure you wouldn't settle on the first sub/slave you've met after one message either ...unless you enjoy playing with people you don't have anything in common with.

Chav, It is the nature of an online forum. If you put up a post with anything at all controversial in it, expect debate and discussion, and that not all of it will agree with your position. Perhaps you worded your OP in a way that set you up for easy misunderstanding. Perhaps as well, this is sparking so much discussion because even if misinterpreted, there are many on here who actually do feel that way, though few have the balls to come out and say so...hehe

~FR~ I have not read all the responces yet It might be that 1. some of us actually have standards. 2. We want more then anyone that claims to be a "Dominant" in control of our lives 3. We live in an area where the BDSM community is small 4. We may have met someone and for one reason or another things didn't work out so we are looking again. 5. Dominants are the only ones that get to make the choice as to who they own. We as subs and slaves have just as much right to interview you and see if you are worthy of us. Just a couple ideas as to why some of us are still looking
