I'll try anything once, twice if I like it, three times if it's legal.......

If I haven't heard it, said it or used it, I've done it!

And here's one that very few of my friends have heard.....I'm going to beat you like a red headed stepchild!

The first two are mine, the third is not......

Since light travels faster than sound,
people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Children in backseats cause accidents;
accidents in backseats cause children.

A bus station is where a bus stops.
A train station is where train stops.
On my desk, I have a work station.
What more can I say?

When you are up to your ass in alligators it is difficult
to remember that your first objective was to drain the swamp.

a couple from H.L. Mencken:

It is hard to believe that a man is telling the truth when you know that you would lie if you were in his place.

The kind of man who wants the government to adopt and enforce his ideas is always the kind of man whose ideas are idiotic.

I never lecture, not because I am shy or a bad speaker, but simply because I detest the sort of people who go to lectures and don't want to meet them.

A cynic is a man who, when he smells flowers, looks around for a coffin.
