Without Barbarella, there would never have been Duran Duran.

Ron

domiguy -> RE: Wost movies ever (3/6/2007 6:34:35 PM)

Boy oh boy!...Enjoyed Galaxy Quest, thought Golblum was awsome in "The Fly."...Actually liked Napoleon Dynamite.

Worst movie of all times..."Zapped." Starring a well hung Scott Baio and the muliple Oscar nominated Willie Aames.

RobertCloud -> RE: Wost movies ever (3/6/2007 6:38:25 PM)

Napolean Dynamite and Barbarella have got to be near the top of the list...

But another to add to that would be "The Toy" with Richard Pryor and Jackie Gleason. Even both of them were ashamed of the movie and said they did it for the money only.

And "C.H.U.D." was an absolute piece of dung!!!

HydroMaster -> RE: Wost movies ever (3/6/2007 6:39:02 PM)

domiguy, I have a question and I'm sure you have the answer.  What did you do in a past life for all of your posts to be awaiting approval?

fergus -> RE: Wost movies ever (3/6/2007 6:43:18 PM)

C.H.U.D.

*sigh*

That's two hours of my life I can never have back.

Thank you for bringing painful repressed memories back to the surface.

Well, Fergus, it taught me one thing... To be leary of all movies that have an ACRONYM as a title..

HydroMaster -> RE: Wost movies ever (3/6/2007 6:47:27 PM)

C.H.U.D? I don't remember that, what's it about?

bearincuffs -> RE: Wost movies ever (3/6/2007 6:48:11 PM)

Space Vampires
Attack of The Killer Tomatoes
Inner Space

Okay, sometimes a movie is SO bad it has kitch value and becomes ... well ... good (in a weird way).

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is one of those :)

Also, they had all these leftover midgets in hollyweird after the whole Oz thing, so they made a western (with an all midget cast) called 'The Terror of Tiny Town" they were all riding ponies and such, ten gallon hats, the works.

oh, by the way .... CHUD (Cannibal Humanistic Undercity Dwellers) was about mutant cannibals living in the sewers.

Wasn't "Inner Space" the last movie done with Natalie Wood in it. She was killed during the filming. Still some controversy over her death as to whether it was accidental or murder and the chief suspect if murder was her husband Robert Wagner.

But the finished the film with pre-shot footage and a standin shot from behind. That is what made the movie so bad. I actually liked the movie for the most part, but knowing how they had to finish it, and without the aid of the computer technology they have today it was the best they could do. Personally, I feel they should have stopped it and just said it was a memorial to her to not finish it.

Well now, this brings up an interesting question... Can anyone think of a movie that uses an ACRONYM as a title that was a GOOD movie? Not an abbreviation, AVP (Alien Vs Predator) is an abbreviation because it does not make a word, the abbreviation must form a word to be an acronym.

ownedgirlie -> RE: Wost movies ever (3/6/2007 7:14:10 PM)

Any Quentin Terrantino movie.

There, I said it.

I thought Forest Gump was pretty good [:D]

some other bad ones....The Village,...boy, what a disappointment that one was
The Grudge...another PoS; AI...absolutly horrible

HydroMaster -> RE: Wost movies ever (3/6/2007 7:19:43 PM)

Burn every copy of The Village and pray that it's memory may one day be erased from our collective psyche.

fergus -> RE: Wost movies ever (3/6/2007 7:22:14 PM)

The Village gets an A- for atmophere in my book, but it was SOOOOOOOOOOOO predictable.  I had it figured out in the opening credits - and that RUINED the film for me.

Oh, MORE bad pieces of trash:

Aurthur (the one about the king, not the one about the drunk)
Alexander

Robert Cloud: C.H.O.M.P.S. another bad acronym movie.

And the Halloween classic my friends and I watch every year, just to knock off a few IQ points:

Hard Rock Zombies.

Seriously, zombies, a girl with one eyebrow, heavy metal, and Hitler. Can you possibly go wrong???
