Status: offline 		Just reading the slap thread and i read something that immediately made me think of hair pulling......

Most humans like it- subs like the extra sense of helplessness, the idea that they are being "taken" and that they are desired.

It sets of a lot of "happy chemical" receptors for the brain, one of my fave things to do for others is long slow scratching scalp massaged, which includes some hair pulling.

Very few people like it when you grab just a small chunk of hair, far from the scalp and do a hard yank.  But lots of people like the "close to the nape of the neck, large handful firm pull."

Status: offline 		Well I can't say for hair pulling, but I love scalp massages and having my hair brushed/combed/washed. If I could bring my hair stylist home with me to wash my hair for me every day, I so would.

Status: offline 		When I first joined CM and saw hair pulling i thought OMG who would enjoy that.  I associated it with my childhood days when my brothers would sneak up and yank my braids or pig tails and i ran screaming after them. 

Then I met a Dom who introduced me to the real art of hair pulling.  All i can say is it was nothing like my childhood experience.  When he reached in through my hair and grabbed a fistful and yanked it was a gut wrenching experience no pun intended.  All i could think of was ohh yeeeesssssss what ever you want just ask i will do.  I had never expected anything like this to happen to me.  I was not prepared for it.

hair pulling and face slapping are two of my mostest favoritest things in the world, in the right circumstances.

shampooing, scalp massaging, etc. are some of my mostest favoritest things in the world, in all circumstances. i'm pretty indiscriminate when it comes to my hair ;)

I love it...as you said, I melt. I love my man playing with my hair, stroking it in a loving (and patronizing ) way.

The other thing that does it for me is stroking the back of my neck lightly, or grabbing it...so much power he has - me on my knees at his feet, his hand on the back of my neck, ready to guide, torment, pleasure...

That's just me.

Status: offline 		I love it when he pulls my hair, and I do go into a zone when he does so. It makes me feel very submissive, but not to the depth of face slapping... face slapping is not something that happens all the time, and that might be part of what gives it the impact it has.

Status: offline 		Hell.. Hair Pulling, Hair Stroking, Hair Brushing, Washing Hair, Twisting Hair, Twirling Hair, attaching things to Hair, Hair Clip, Hair Bands... It's all good! 

I think LA is right that only 5% of people don't like to have their hair messed with. 

It all depending upon the moment, and how much or little force is used... I have yet to be with somebody which did not melt when I messed with the Hair..

Only comment I have to say... to add to this thread is this...

Sticky Hair Spray
It makes the hair feel rough, bitch to play with! God forbid if your hand is slightly wet... Eeeeewwww...

I have a small hair fetish.

About 90% of my lover have hair pass their shoulders.

It makes me feel powerful when I grab them by the hair and make them look me in the eye. Something about it just does it for me.

Sends my temper and demeanour right off the Richter Scale - I HATE it!!!!  It feels almost like tha bitch is trying to control me or something; totally the WRONG headspace for me....  Still, it only happened once - in my past vanilla life when she had some sick idea that hair-pulling was playful. 
 
But what I do love is the little "hypocrisies" of BDSM - where *I* do the pulling.  Which is partly why I'm against shaved pubes on the girl - just a pinch is perfect for getting her right up on her toes and face to face when she's being overcome by attitude....
