Status: offline 		Whippings that break the skin? Needle torture, drinking urine/scat? I'm in the uk with a consensual slave and I'm concerned about the legal side fo things. Any help would be appreciated.

Status: offline 		Dude, the law has nothing to do with it.  Even a "consensual slave" can go cry abuse and throw you in jail.

I suggest communicating with your slave about their desires and wants, and tell them about yours.

Status: offline 		I don't know about the UK, but in the US none of this stuff, consensual or not, is "legal." You cannot (in legal terms) "consent" to being assualted. You can of course give your consent to play at S/M but if the law gets involved, they will not see it that way. As long as you are doing it in private and your slave truly is consenting and doesn't change her mind and press charges, you should be fine.

If you are thinking of things to do, and at the same time, pondering the legalities of such activities, I would think that you would recognize that you are already heading in a direction that could possibly harm her. Of course, you post was a bit vague, but that is the first thought that comes to my mind.

Status: offline 		Legally, just about anything you do in S&M is against the law. From reading your profile, you want to go deeply into sadism. Better make sure you and the sub are on the same page and both understand the limits. If she decides you have abused her, she can go to the police, and you will have precious few defenses.

Status: offline 		as others have said, the law really does not care whether or not she consents (at least in the us).

beyond that, you can pretty much go as far as she consents to. ask her what her limits are.

I should think that if one is fairly adept with the flogger, this could be avoided if your aim is pretty decent and you don't get that awful wrap-around effect.

If you're unsure, practice with your pillow before taking on the zombies.

i think the point we're trying to make is that, like magiksslave said, from a legal standpoint, -everything- is illegal, pretty much...so if she does all of a sudden decide she's mad at you and goes and shows her bruises or cuts to the cops, you are in big, big trouble. pretty much everything that falls under bdsm also falls under assault in their book. so really it's a matter of what she is consenting to, but legally, it's important to keep in mind that the law doesn't care whether she said yes or begged for it.

Status: offline 		I'm not familiar with the UK, but I can tell you that, here in the US, just about any physical form of BDSM play can be considered an illegal act.  There are a lot of domestic abuse laws here that don't even require either of the participating parties to press charges.  For example, if the neighbors overhear a scene, call the police, and there is evidence that somebody's been struck..... I think you get the scenerio.  Just some thoughts to ponder.
