Status: offline 		Seekshertrue1 I think you have the nail right on the head.  And what a sad comment that is.  I have run into this issue many times in my experience with the lifestyle.  From part time lovers to non available doms I have learned the hard way that people are not always what they seem.  I had no idea this phemomenon occured until I was given first hand experience.  My heart still carries the bruises from those that felt that I was good enough to play with but not attend a film or restaurant with.  The result of this knowlede is my eternal "singleness".  I find that I would rather be alone than with one that doesn't cherish me, in every venue.  Perhaps one day we'll find each other.   There are days when that possiblity seems only a pipe dream.

Status: offline 		I agree 100% with BeachMystress on this one. Knowing a Domme has the physical ability to do what they want with you, takes the play to a different level. However there is something to be said for submitting to a much smaller woman as well ... it just puts my mind in a different headspace entirely. I don't prefer one over the other ...it's just a matter of being two different types of experiences for me. I've subbed to many Dommes, of all shapes and sizes, and each experience was unique, however the quality of the play was a result of the Domme herself, not Her ability to fit into a Size 6 dress !!!

Status: offline 		As a rule I have always preferred BBW's as both partners and friends for some reason. It may have to do with the fact that I am 6'8" tall and weigh in the neighborhood of 450 and would crush a smaller woman like Godzilla going through Tokyo. Even thinking about it now, its simply a preference and I have no real reason for it...interesting

I reading the responses to the post, I realize that it wasn't as clear as it should have been. It doesn't help that it zapped the original post at first and was in hurry to re-enter it.  I did not mean to imply that I don't find plus size women attractive. While from a purely aesthetic view I might prefer slimmer looks (just someone may prefer brunettes to redheads);  there is more to attraction then aesthetics. Most of the women I've dated are plus size and I'm certainly not embarrassed to be seen with one (as someone suggested). What I was getting at is that there is something about the Rubenesque or voluptious figure that appeals to my submissive desire and that I find powerful.

While I am not new to  BDSM, I have not really discussed the subject with many people and not on a discussion board like this one. I was curious about the views of other posters on the subject. I am sorry if I offened anyone and should add that I did not mean imply that I only wanted answers from other submissive males.

Status: offline 		Immediate attraction can't always be defined and shouldn't be thought of as good or bad anyhow. I am not immediately attracted to most men. I've never been a "watch the guy go by" kinda girl. I have been immediately attracted to someone by their intellect.

It is exciting to be able to literally push someone around or be pushed around by someone. I have been told that a session was awesome because i have the physical strength to push someone harder. It's also a safety factor for some men. My partner feels extra comfortable that i can also catch him if he falls as it were.

Status: offline 		Respect is earned, regardless of size.  There is something immediate about the physical respect a large lady commands.  I know many ladies who crave the same contrast in men.  The feeling of power and control.

By the way, those sensual curves are always a bonus!

Here is to not facing reality.  Secure as the day is long.  Not Superior to anyone except those that choose to look at me in that manner.

Why is 14 or over + size?  Who determined that? Plus to what?  Why isn't it just a size?  The term "Plus Size is also a label.  But maybe you don't pay attention to women's clothing.

Status: offline 		for me, i enjoy a woman with a little extra meat on her bones...but not to the extreme...as a general rule, i find a woman attractive up to about 200 lbs...beyond that, it would depend on how the woman carries the weight...some can pull it off, some can't

How tall is she at 200 lbs....height makes the difference

Status: offline 		Just wanted to chime in to say that it warms the cockles of my heart to see that no matter what BDSM board it is - alt, bondage, collarme, local discussions - that people still go nuts over a "fat chicks" thread. 
I bet if someone did some kind of meta-search, "i love/hate BBW" would fall in #2 just slightly below "true master/slave" topics.

"Zaftig" is also nice- it sounds like some kind of delicious pickled plum

It is less about size than about face for me. There are many beautiful women of different sizes but I can forget everything if I'm looking into a captivating pair of eyes in a handsome strong-featured face.

Status: offline 		Being on the large/BBW/fat/obese/thick/whatever you wanna term it/  side, all my life, Ive come to terms with the fact that I will never look how I feel inside, but who I am inside IS what matters, and that shows thru to anyone with the intelligence/desire to see it. My desires, needs, cravings,and fantasies didnt wither away as I went up in dress sizes....and I dont intend letting anyones opinion of my weight affect that.
And I prefer the term "Physically Prosperous"
