I love this thread!

I didn't meet Sir because of gaming, but we definitely got together because he would spend days on end in my and my roommate's dorm, playing Halo and Gauntlet: Dark Legacy on Xbox.

Now, we're a proud geek couple. Mostly console gaming for the time being - having Macs can interfere with good computer gaming. (Plus, I'm afraid of the WoW-addiction that would invariably happen!) When we game together, it's usually as two gamers, not so much as a D/s couple. But what happens in the game definitely carries over - for example, in an 8-person Halo session, I fragged him about six times straight. He expressed his pride in having a girl who's such a good shot, excused us to our friends, then hauled me into our room by the back of our neck and scened with me for almost an hour. [:D]

We also table-top; again, mostly D&D. Our D/s nature comes through in that type of gaming especially, since my characters (as extensions of me) tend to be submissive and/or slutty, and his NPCs (as extensions of him) tend to be dominant and sadistic. So often, our D&D games become LARPs. [;)]

I enjoy playing WoW, and am looking forward to Warhammer Online when it comes out. Nice to know that other game lovers are around.

My Master and I game together.  Generally the rules in life are the same in the game.  I do call him Sir sometimes, the guildies just assume its for respect of the game.  He is the guild Master.  Master and I decide which character I play and when.  We discuss generally who gets what but we have fun mostly while we play.

AHAHA! Well for me, i dont play games with "Ub3r L3w7" but if i DID have a domme which i do not, then id gladly give them a looted AK-74 with GP-30 grenade launcher attachment... i like sniping anyway ;) i play FPS/tacical games,

I have to say I am not an online gamer....I do play but not any of the ones mentioned in these posts.  However, my husband (we are dom/me couple) is dedicated to WOW.  I'm sure that he would like to join a guild for dom/mes if you start one.  As long as he can play he is happy...if he can play AND have a sub at the same time...he'd be overjoyed....LOL

O_O Sounds like fun. I'll have to get my best friend to work on the costume making, as I can't be bothered to sew... and she seems to live for it. However, I'll do all the welding on my own.

I've got my fingers crossed that it'll be perfected by the time AnimeExpo rolls around again since my prior visit tanked. Damned lack of planning. Last time I listen to anyone but me, myself and I where plans are concerned.

I wonder... If it would be possible to set up something like a CM gamers night? Everyone whos interested in playing a mmorpg would like to meet up and get a game started?

raven says: *giggles!* these are great questions! if we had 2 computers i think we'd play Diablo, and i'd likely be much more aggressive in-game than i am otherwise. that is, if he let me ;)

we play Second Life ... he's a newbie, i play to earn real money in-world. he asked me to create his avatar, sculpt it to look like him, buy a skin, clothes, for him. so i'm definitely the gopher, the one to get the "loot." i even work to earn the real money to buy things he likes, whether for his avatar or mine. plus he wants me to build a throne for him to sit in, with his name on it *grins*

when Voice got turned on in SL, he started participating by joining group chats, while i was logged in ... which is realllllly strange, hearing a man's deep voice come out of a woman's body, with lots of female giggling in the background! on my birthday, Sir spanked me over SL Voice, i didn't realize i was so loud until someone played back what they had recorded! then they set it up as a prank on their server ... now when i start DJing in my club, the first thing we all hear is Sir swatting my ass hard and me yelling "f*ck!" *lol*

I've been giving some thought to joining Second Life. I do really like the Sims 2 and it might be more fun to play a more adult version.

In all honesty from a program / game / application perspective I wouldn't go to Second Life, Aquatic. I was on it for a bit, and quite honestly...the coding is HORRIBLE! The moronic Lindens freaking coded the damn rendering code BACKWARDS so its slow and clunky and over all a very slow and poor situation. Yes it is very good at what it does (visual and modifiable chat room) but the slow rendering and the lag the permeate because of the poor rendering code is indeed why I would recommend not going to it.

In case and of you are wondering what I mean by rendering backwards, vision out from a character is supposed to be rendered from the characters point of view, aka a wall blocks their view nothing is rendered past there, in SL it is rendered as far as the "max distance" is set to and then back towards your character. Its very poorly coded and I am sure they did it because it was faster to code it poorly when they were first testing it and possibly did not expect it to take off as much as it has...but when they are reworking it now it would be a great deal better and faster if they learned to recode the damn rendering, hell it isn't THAT hard to rewrite just the rendering code!

Sorry my apologies for being a programmer rant, Aerith would be glaring and threatening me if she was here when I typed this, if she even let me type it!

That said, you might want to look into Sociolotron, which does feature in-game BDSM and such. It also has a 21 year minimum age requirement. Not my kind of thing, though.

Hoping to eventually make a MMORPG or other game that includes BDSM, either as something that just "happens" to be a part of it, or as a central theme. Either way it is hard to come up with a concept where it fits in naturally, though, and the artwork is just hell to make, unless you have money or real models to 3D-scan and work with, and not very many people are real comfy with donating a 3D model of their bodies. [8D]




Just keep it in guild chat.  I used to play WoW alot, but it's boring now, with another xpac coming out there seems to be no reason to play now.  I am looking forward to Warhammer Online, I hear from people in the beta it's good and quite different than other MMORPGs.  Maybe you all should designate a server when Warhammer comes out and get more lifestylers in the same place.

Since I enjoy online role playing games (EverQuest 2, mostly) I also compound my game-geekiness by following a number of online comix based on RPGs, such as Order of the Stick, The Noob, PvPonline and Looking for Group..

I thought I'd share the current LFG, since it has a nice dynamic!

we met in secondlife and not as master sub but friends first although we both instinctivly knew what we were we didnt discuss it till we started a relationship.   where on he (nicely) tested me out and we were both instantly aware of what we were no doubts.   and we became rl too almost the same time.  now im moving to be with him.  we maintain an online family.  in rl i am his only one.  we will continue be in sl as we both enjoy the many aspects of it.

It's funny, I have no problem admitting to people that I am kinky and Dominant, but when gaming comes up so does my guard. Sure I love to tie up women and do kinky things to them, but D&D uhhh...gosh look at the time, gotta go.

I play WoW and LOTRO, I have to say that Lord of the Rings Online is a much more graphics rich game than WoW, but it lacks that high fantasy feel. Only so many "Go kill the orcs and help the fellowship get by" quests you can do before boredom sets in. Still, an amazing environment.

That was adorable. I don't follow LFG but I love LICD and I got to meet the Blind Ferret guys at Dragon*con. Very nice friendly folks, from what time I spent at their booth.

I am a hard core gamer. Right now I am waiting in the queue to get on to Aion. (Good game I recommend it.) I have only RPed with a Dom once. He wasn’t my Dom though. I got to talking with him and his boy after the game. He and his boy had matching tattoos. They each had a D20, the Dom had a 20 on his die and his boy had a 1.
