Anywho, I just used some of the cash from selling my textbooks to buy a copy of Pokemon Diamond.

Yes. I still play Pokemon at 19. Ya know, most people in the vanilla world think that's even weirder than enjoying having large objects put into my bottom.[;)]

Ooooo!  Oooo!  I want Santa Cthulhu!!!!   Please don't bonfire your gaming stuff before I have a chance to bankrupt myself to acquire the nifty bits!   I can't imagine getting rid of my gaming stuff.  Not deliberately, anyway.  I did make the mistake of loaning some things that wandered off and didn't return.  But I still have lots of gaming books, as well as some dice that are older than I care to remember. 


Oh, and Gary Gygax wasn't a prude, he was a bloody hypocrite.  From what I heard, the -last- straw for his wife was finding him trying to bed a 16 year old girl at a con.  I don't know if it's true, but I've heard enough other rumours about him being pervy to not dismiss it out of hand.

OMG...awesme post lol. i am a gamer and my master is too....he just brought up the subject today of me farming for him in world of warcraft and leveling his characters lol

when i was younger i used to be really into games...but i still play marvel vs capcom 2...you will not beat my megaman & bb hood. i can use anyone else with them.

Um....  *shuffles*  I like playing Pokemon on the gameboy.  I don't have mine anymore, but it was still fun, and I'll probably get another someday. 

I need to find people who like playing Munchkin.  I really do love that game.  It used to drive my ex wild, because we'd bargain and use verbal propoganda to try to win, and he hated that.  Granted, he hated a wide variety of things, including himself.  More about the asshat on request.  *evil grin*

Ok I have something that can greatly help all of you.  I have only read the first few posts due to time constrants.  I have always played games with friends and some of my friends who know about me have joked that I would have to give all my "phat lewt" to her if I was with attached to someone who played the game with me.  My answer is always, "Of course I would!  But she would be playing a different character and I wouldn't need the stuff!"

The short and long answer, "Play classes / characters that benifit each other but use different gear."  aka magic user and melee user etc.  That way, if player A get something KICK ASS they can't use they give to player B etc :)  works great in any group setting but btwn a Dom(me)/Sub gaming couple works out great too!

my Master and i are also serious gamers.  O/our living room looks like a video game store.  Most of the casual time W/we spend together is spent playing games.  my personal favorites are squarenix/squaresoft rpgs - the all-time favorite being Chrono Trigger.  Master is excellent at various platformers and shooting games, and really loves strategy.  W/we just beat Kingdom Hearts II together.  i love gaming so much that most of my friends are guys, since i can rarely find other females who are into gaming as much as i am.

I assume by gamers you mean world of warcraft, Master enjoys Halo why I enjoy World of warcraft. We have played together a bit on world of warcraft and the only time master gets mad at me is when I set loot for Free for all and take all the loot. BUT on Halo there are lots of "friendly fire" accidents that I say oops on and TONS of oops theres a plasma gernade on your back....I wonder who through it and he doesn't get mad....Oh he gets mad but he thinks that all the aliens did it not me *Evil grin*
But there is a big difference between video games, gamers, and master/slave and d/s relationships. And I agree with the quote above....IF its MY character on My account and I worked my butt off to kill the thing...( such as soloing black fathoms deep at level 35 with my warlock) Then hell no I wouldn't let him take my loot cause I earned it lmfao!

(Ok the robes are no trade... but the sword is mine)

I've never played WoW.  I can't afford it, to be perfectly honest.  I play a text-based online rpg MUD, and I do tabletop gaming.  But the same dynamic does apply.   It would definitely apply if I played WoW, but in that case, I'd probably be running a healer anyway.

By gamer I mean a person who plays games more then your standerd person (generally we have a healthy "computer glow" skin tone [:D]) - I play Galaxies (like WoW but for Star Wars) and a Masquarade table-top, along with  some computer and consol games.

But yeah... I go hunting for Valyraen and bring him lots of hide to make stuff out of... but my shinies are mine. Unless he trades me for it! [:D]

PS. Because I'm excited about: Galaxies brought back beast mastery so now we get to have pets! Valyraen promised that he would make me a squall - think squirell with bunny ears! *does her supreme happy dance*

Why yes, my Master tends to erm... smack me around in our D&D games. This is probably just to show the rest of the group that he does not favor me over them with magical items and such, but the point still stands -laugh-

He's never fallen to my FF in CS though [:)]

I currently play EQ 2 and love it, game is much better than when it was released. Have played many other mmos(WoW, VG, LoTRo) but enjoy eq2 the most.

In all my mmos my main char is named whackers, from a hot pink froglok in hot pink armor in eq1 to a High elf pally in eq2. OH! Also, does anyone else here play miniature games? Master and I are big fans of Warhammer/Warhammer 40k and such. He's also a big BattleTech player. I'm in it more for the painting TBH but the game is neat.

Never done miniatures but i've seen them at shops, really nice pieces. BTW theres a Warhammer MMO coming out sometime: www.warhammeronline.com check out their trailer for it, absolutely hilarious:)
