This is my question/comment.

Why is that young men have lost the concept of being polite?  As a Pro Domme, I cringe when I see the ages of some of these "subs" who desire my services.  I think someone should tell them that...

1.  I am not a prostitute.  My tits will not go in your mouth because you want them to.  I do not do what you tell me to.

2.  I am not going to treat you like we are in session when we are chatting.  This is the time that I take to see if we are even compatible.
Example:  You may want to be "raped" but I don't do rape scenes.  Good to know before I start giving you orders.

3.  I remember a time when people brought gifts to their Domme the first time.  Nothin big, flowers, a card, something to show respect.  What happened to that?

4.  Young people need to realize, I do not care if your car blew up, or you had to pay your child support, or anyhting else.  If you can not pay tribute, reschedule.  No big deal.  Do not show up at my dungeon with nothing but excuses.

I think this is all I have right now.  If anyone else has anything, please free feel to post.

Oh yes I know exactly what you mean.  They confuse a pro dom with a prostitute and dont see that  for a prodom  -it's sexual NOT sex.

With more posts, the ice cream cone will go away Lady Scarlett.  It just means that you're a beginner on the forums.  Here's a link to the thread that explains the ratings and how many posts for each level....   http://www.collarchat.com/m_117979/tm.htm

I dunno, I like the cute young subs... if you go along with them and be nice, eventually you can get them to your dungeon... then you can tie them down and show them what a real dom is all about :P I've done that 2x so far... sure they complain at first, but that just makes them that much more adorable!!  ^^

Thanks, Jezzabelle--

I still think the labels are ridiculous, though. I mean, I've been actively kinky for over a decade, I'm a working Domme, and I find the adjective "Vanilla" as applied to me very condescending. I'm going to be even more annoyed by "Newbie" when I finally "earn" that exalted status. Also, since status is based on number of *posts* rather than number of words posted or topics addressed, the people who gain this status are the ones who have the time to sit around and trade jocular or snotty one- or two-line posts on total trivia. I've contributed hundreds of words of mostly serious, thoughtful argument to these boards, and very seldom have I received a serious and thoughtful reply. "Corruption" here apparently means how much of a BB spud one can afford to be. That sure as fuck isn't *my* definition!

And, while I'm kvetching, it annoys Me that the "notify me via email when someone replies" feature does not appear to work--even when I do get a damn reply.

So funny this thread was made today. I just got an email from a young sub boy. He states he is 21. I am submissive as it clearly states in my profile

"caan i suck your dick?"

Now who can resist such articulation and sincerity?

There are many professional escort services who offer 'domination' and dominatrix role-play as an option.  Of course WE know the difference between a professional Dominant female and those lovely girls who simply play the part and then fuck the client... but obviously most do not.

Yeah, I guess I just officially became a Newbie. "Curious" actually describes me much better--my nickname in the family used to be "Elly" from the Elephant's Child in the Just-So Stories, who has "satiable-curtiosity" [sic]... Always asking questions. I still am.

I don't think this is a matter of age.

When I got Fox he was 19 and he would know better than those examples in the OP.

I'm sure there are people in their 40s, 50s and beyond who expect the same things and do the same things.

That said I prefer younger people because they tend to have fewer bad habits they've been doing for decades and decades. I think they are easier to train if they are serious about Ds.

All I got to say is 'Amen sister tell it like it is! ' I am sick to my back teeth of finding personal messages asking and pleading for me to be there Dom.
One has to ask the  question if they even read the profiles or if they just spend their hours away from from the job centre, (or maybe nursery) trolling the websites looking for attention that mummy didn't give them What's even worse is when they give you a CV of all their TWO YEARS experience and add in that they earn £200 a week, (Which most of is probley spent down the local youth club) I think with that awesome amount of money it looks Like a chinese but hey it's a step up from Mc Donalds on a saturday with his friends outside in their mini metro and their tinny car sound system lol.

Does anybody think same or would you say I'm too harsh lol xx

As a young sub, i feel i must defend myself. I also realize i am female, so the OP really doesn't apply to me but i'm going to answer anyway. I also realize i do not have a profile on CM, but that is for personal reasons.

Just like TammyJo said, it has nothing to do with age. Just like, in the world of BDSM, age most certainly does not equal experience. A person can be 20 and have more lifestyle experience than someone 20 years their senior.

But that's not what this is about.

It might be true that some submissives (male and female) act the way the OP described. But why generalize it? Why group all submissives, or even a particular age group (to which i belong, of course), together like that? What exactly does that accomplish?

I personally find it amusing that people have such a fit about little icons.

Do you bring flowers to other professional transactions?

Well, I feel it is important to note that "age" itself has nothing to do with it. These people who are rude towards you now will likely be rude towards you years from now, as well towards anyone else they cross paths with. Part of the problem is the education. A young adult boy or girl (not man or woman, by their own actions) takes a look at one of those porno pop ups with whips and chains and thinks "ooo that's hot!" and thus declare themselves no longer "vanilla" after reading an erotic fantasy story or two herein having labels to declare. This is where most education does in fact come from. I can almost guarantee that most people these days, especially the younger because of the environments and "times" they grew up in very rarely sit and read through chapters and books of real important information, save it having information on how to actually DO something. In that case however, they often skip safety and reality issues. (being "younger" than so many here, luckily I was blessed with concern for safety and reality)

This is not to do with "age" again, but to do with the way people have been taught. I know that I for one got flooded with information growing up which forced me to weed through it all and only keep the "juicy" stuff..... With more knowledge in a world, there is only so much anyone can take in. Of course you will take in what you want to know! That is the curse of a developmental time.

As for young adults views on Pro-Dommes: I have seen that many view them as any other buisiness transaction: Get what you can for as little as possible: quality probably sucks no matter what you pay! - Not saying it DOES suck, but that is generally the mindset. I'll admit it, I am a bargain shopper! Though I would NEVER pay someone for helping me live out this lifestyle, I see how people can see it as such. "Why pay a bundle for something our partner ideally should be helping us with for free?" (A quote I have heard from a friend on the subject)

This is your business. Learn with the times, try and understand them, and deal with them...... As annoying as it may be to do so. Customers these days are just......... consumers..... no longer your neighbor, best friend, and so forth........ unless you're either lucky, or that is in fact their thing!

Being mature is to realise that people are individuals and should be judged on an individual basis. I read a book once it was the worst book ever but the colourful cover looked so nice. I’ve not read the Bible yet due to its boring cover if it had had a picture of Jesus carrying a bazooka blowing up cars and stuff I might have considered it. There is a lesson there I feel, no there isn’t.  I just wanted to add something that hadn’t been said above and Jesus carrying a bazooka isn’t up there I checked.
