I have to plead guilty to that (as I didn't really notice the date).  I don't agree with windchymes about complaints about being a failure if it were a paysite and I still got no responses though.  I e-mailed one lady on the 1st of this month and just tonight she updates that she's under consideration.  In the meanwhile she had been online several times over the last few days and couldn't even show the courtesy of even reading, much less responding to my e-mail to her.  So it's not just a matter of the person searching having failed, but of the person they write to failing to observe the common courtesies as well.  She's not the only one that I've noticed that problem with online either.  You find it everywhere, on every site a person can find I think.  It's not right or fair either.  If a person shows that kind of disrespect to those they don't know yet, what does that say about their showing a potential partner proper respect?

Surely you don't believe that "trolls" can't have credit cards, do you? That was MSN's reasoning too, it didn't work there either. All it would accomplish is getting rid of some very real and very wonderful people that simply couldn't afford to join. I know the old argument that it wouldn't have to be much to join, ok, so "trolls" wouldn't have to spend as much, but for some, students for example, even a small amount is beyond their budget. I think that this being a free site is incredible, the job they do here is commendable and those of us that can afford it should donate simply because we can. Exactly my point.  Dragon and I would leave if Collarme became a paid site.  It would just become like all the other paid sites.
