I am marked -- pierced -- as a show of submission to Sir. It is my most prized possession next to His love for me.

It is not unusual to be excited at the sight of your submission to Him -- I would fathom to guess (without even reading the other posts) that almost all of the submissives states that they are marked in one form or another. The act of "owning" someone, in many ways, almost requires it.

Some prefer, as I do, that the mark be more permanent - a constant reminder, no matter where I am or who I am with that I belong to Him. I will never remove my mark, even after His/my passing. Others like to have their mark "updated" -- as you do -- on a regular basis. Either way, the sentiment is the same.

Personally sometimes I want to be marked from either from a bite or bruise though do prefer it not to be in a very conspicuous area. I like the tought that only myself and Master knows where the mark is even though anyone else won't. It's almost a desire to have this little "secret" only the two of knows!
Yet I do crave to be permanently marked with a tattoo instead. Of course one of Master's choosing whch would be a symbol of his House. This will have a greater neaning and a greater connection for us both. Though the discomfort is temporary, always seeing the tattoo will constantly reinforce the bond I have with him.
