Status: offline 		im not aginst having a black dom, its just some of the racial differences are so diverce that i do not like them. if that makes any scense... its just for me, most black doms dont act they way that im looking for a dom to act, we just dont click

Status: offline 		While I am not looking, when I was it didn't matter to me if the dominant was black or not. I never cared what the persons race was just that if we fit and were compatible. I guess some do have a particular preference but I have seen on some profiles that some subs are only looking for black doms. I think you just have to ask if they have a preference and really care about race if you are interested in someone.

Status: offline 		I'm not "looking for" a black dom, but if a black gentleman came along that interested me and that I saw possible compatibility with, etc. etc., then sure, I'd consider him.

1)Although I am a mostly UNprejuidiced person, I have loved ones who would be uncomfortable with me being in an interracial relationship and I choose to respect their wishes.
 
2)I have not met many african american men whom I found attractive (I just have a thing for very fair skinned guys w/ blue eyes...)

3)Most african american men who are looking for a white woman seem VERY hung up on race and seem to "get off" on dominating a white woman. I don't want a man being with me just cause he has a fetish for women who look like me. I want him to be ask me out cause he likes Geeky Girl , not cause he likes blonde-headed white girls. This actually goes for any of my physical attributes. It's similiar to how I don't want to date guys who have a major fetish for blondes, for big boobs, or for chunky girls. I am all those things, but I wanted him to like me as a person, not as a fetish.

4)I have several african american friends, and being around them has taught me that they do have a very different culture and they often have a very different upbringing than mine (they tend to have different social values, religious values, etc.) So far, I have yet to meet a man of the african american race whom I had a lot in common with. That's not to say they aren't there..I just haven't met them yet. If I met one I had a lot in common with, I might change my mind.

On a side note, I do have some negative associations with african american men. I work in a jail and deal with inmates of all races. Every inmate who has ever throw semen on me or jerked off while looking at me was african american. I have NEVER had a white, hispanic, or asian man do this to me. Never, in 4yrs. Every one of them has been african american. Does that mean anything? I don't know, but it has left me with a knee jerk reaction towards "men of color". It makes me wonder if there is something in the cultural upbringing which doesn't stress sexual respect towards women.

The men that you meet in a jail are not representitive of all African American males. They are more likely brought up by females in a society where black women are respected, but not white women. The fact that you are young and blond would add to their interest in trying to get to you by doing something that you can not control.

My family had a flipping fit when i started dating my 1st husband. And after we got married it only got worse. Mind you he was a college graduate from a middle class family where both parents worked for the school system. They didn't drink, smoke or do drugs. They were as stable as anyone could imagine and very supportive. Race was more important to my family than if i was dating a drug dealer or abuser. I chose to walk away from my family for 4 years because i knew they were wrong. How did i know? Because they taught me that everyone was the same, lol. It took my daughter to get them to realize their own truth and they ended up very close to him before he passed.

on a straight out sexy scale I have to agree with the person who said black men are hot. There's something about those gleaming black muscles. Never been into the blond haired blue eyed type. Give me a dark haired guy with blue eyes and then i'll go totally nuts!

Status: offline 		Just recently I had some contact me and ask me if dated  ivory  men . I told him yes. Then he went on to say something along the lines of his was attracted to the "taboo" of dating outside of his race. I came with  the comment if he is looking for the "taboo", then Iam not the one for him.

This world is so hung up on color, that some people tend forget that there is person behind the color. Just because I am African American(black) doesn't mean I don't bleed red just like everyone else.

I have dated and have an intteracial relationship. In the beginning it did bother me a bit...but after awhile the man that I was in the relaitonship made me see that it didn't matter what color I was. What he saw was "me."  Am I still open to dating outside my race, I sure am. 

Every enthic group has different social an cultral differences. It's up the individuals involved to embrace each other differences.

I could go on and on here but I better stop for now.

Status: offline 		The first person i ever had a ltr with (7 years) was asian, his race was never an issue for me.  We had struggles during that time frame and only after we broke up did i realize how much our being from different cultures was a factor.  Somehow after him i ended up dating several european men - polish & yugoslavian, cultural differences, but not as much. When i finally dated my first white american male and everything just clicked so wonderfully, there was a flow to the relationship that was never present before, it was then i realized the difficulty in dating people from differnt cultures or races. So to answer the question at hand i would prefer white american males only because i don't want to have to go through those struggles again. It's so much easier to mesh with someone of like mind and experiences.

Black doms n2 the whole scene tend to be more educated types... and much fewer black folks have internet or interest meeting that way...tho that is changing...i prefer black or hispanic women...but i m open as long as they don't have a flat white girl ass... black and hispanic women are more culturally attuned to dominant virile men and reject men they see as soft in some way...i find it funny as hell that so many white people think there is something inherantly wrong with being black, or condone their families feelings that its so... what a world

It was not the right time in my life for us, and when I found out a year or so ago that she was with
somebody else I wished her success and happiness.

When I get a present, I want whats inside, I dont really have issues one way or the other with how

As far as the cultural prejudices are concerned, I will not say they do not exist.  From my perspective, they are simply things which need to be acknowledged, dealt with, and moved on from.

Status: offline 		I hear alot of racist shit here and it's a shame that you have to hear this in the year 2007...sometimes, it sounds like the 50s here.... Fact of the matter is, if a black person had the blood you needed to keep you alive you would take it or a liver to keep your white body functioning you wouldn't say no...I have found positive and negative experiences in both races along with Asian men, Hispanic men...I find black men more attractive but that is just a personal preference, that doesn't mean I would not date a white man....
