Not at all, LA. i am not saying that my way is the only right way. i have never thought that, let alone asserted it to others. i am simply saying that i do and say what i do to be true to myself and/or to please Master. i guess i just have a sore spot when someone seems to be attributing motives to me by saying something about trying to seem cool/er or getting a badge of honor. i usually agree with most of your posts and i guess it just took me by surprise to read your response to this one today. You usually don't make such broad assumptions or label whole groups. When you stated that people who say that usually do it for this or that negative reason, it was painting with a very broad brush. i was included in that group and felt unfairly maligned, so to speak. You absolutely have the right to your opinions as i do mine. Discussing differences in these opinions is the beauty of these forums to me. It's the assigning of incorrect motives to others i don't like so much. i don't think any of us truly KNOW why others think, act, say or feel the ways they do so to assume we do can often lead to big misunderstandings and disagreements. If it is of any consolation it proved just to be a flesh wound and you went on to develop a fertilizer that would allow crops to grow in extreme arid climates.....And you outlived LA by 8 months.

Nah, luci, not die...just mangled..ya know, blood and guts. Actually, my post had more to do with grammar and word usage than anything. I see someone as either bisexual or not. I don't think that someone who performs a bisexual act to please someone else, if that's the only reason for doing it, as bisexual.

As far as the money thing goes...I hear doms complaining all the time about this. Well, then DON'T PUT IT IN YOUR PROFILE! Seems pretty easy to me.

Oh well, just mangling...that's cool then....lol....Yeah, i agree with you that i don't see that as really "bisexual" either. But, by definition, i suppose it is. It's all in our perceptions, i suppose.

I do not dismiss that “very bisexual” can be used as I am cooler or trying to be provocative but when someone tells me or I read that my two thoughts are usually:

1) They might prefer same sex more then opposite sex.
2) They are expressing that they need this in their life to be happy.

The fact is the term bisexual is a too broad of a term. It can mean anything from I am willing to play around with the same sex for another’s happiness or I am lonely/bored and in between a regular man/woman relationship to having a committed, monogamous and intimate relationship with a member of the same sex or opposite sex.

So in defense of people who use a roll your eyes type term they maybe just trying to define what they are all about. I would have to see in what context it was used.

The reason why I put on my profile that I have a job is simple. I have heard some of the subs talk about doms that dont have jobs of any type and basicly sit around all day being "Domly". I dont find it very domly at all. I think if a guy cant hold down a job how can he hold down everything else. I wanted people to know that I do have a job a home and am able to be a provider but it is not meant to imply that a sub would have to give up there career in order to be my sub but it does let them know that there are choices available to them. Just like I am after a certain type of sub I am sure that there are subs looking for that certain type of dom and one of those types is probably someone that can take care of themselves.

The meaning of "very bi" has been explained, I think.
I think that maybe some Doms want to let potential submissives know that they can provide for them, but they expect service in return. Daddy and I were once playing with another couple, and Daddy had left the room for some reason, and the man in the couple started telling me how well he and his wife take care of their girls- buy them things, take them travelling, etc. I don't think I said anything, but in my head I was rather annoyed that he would try to use money as a way to seduce me away from Daddy.
It is nice to be with someone who is financially secure, it makes life easier, and to be honet, given the choice between two Doms, if all other things were equal (in as much as they can be)- attraction, kink compatability, general compatability, etc- I'd probably pick the more well-off Dom, but that's only if all the other pieces were already in place. It is nice to occasionally be pampered and cared for, not to have to feel guilty when your partner buys you dinner, etc. But it shouldn't be a factor in deciding whether to contact a person or not, and thus, I don't really see why it should be in a profile, especially if you don't want to be someone's sugar daddy.

I don't agree with the statement very bi . I am bi and thats that. I prefer woman as much as men. As to the last statement, I find alot of people contratindicate themselves in profiles. They say one thing but mean another. And they wonder why they don't get the responses they want. Go figure.

I hear ya Ponyseeker and I don't disagree. But how about when the screen name is richdom or something like that? That's more what I meant. Yes, I like to know that the dom is employed also or at least has some form of income.
