I loved and fully embraced the red pill, but gee...am I leaning toward the blue pill.  Everything's a learning experience though.  I try hard not to regret.

and one pill makes you small--------

HA!   I will agree....my mother is a piece of work -   (oh, and I know the song, don't worry)

Oh, and to the OP, to quote from Big & Rich:
Its the way God made me, I am what I am and I can't do nothin' 'bout that.

The people in Jefferson Airplane are as old as my mother but my grandmother was the one with the good pills.

I used to draw pictures when I was a toddler. No one taught me this, I didn't seek out to learn it. I was a born artist. Just because I've sought out skills in BDSM doesn't necessarily mean it was a choice. I am what I am today and what I will be in the future. Becoming isn't a choice. It's a natural progression.

why can't you take both red and blue? i vote for a purple pill

Purple pills are Nexium.  Those are only good for people who don't have a heartburn fetish. [;)]

julietsierra -> RE: red pill or blue pill... (4/8/2007 3:31:00 PM)

My insurance doesn't cover the purple pill...that's out for me.

This wasn't something I recall actually choosing.  I simply am this way.  I remember for a long time wishing I wasn't this way, and that life would have been a hell of a lot easier if I was just "normal" (as if there is such thing).  I tried choosing the other direction and denying this part of myself.  I was miserable.

I agree that it's not really a choice as it's your nature, but I do think that you must choose to accept who and what you are. I'm just starting to explore this side of me since I fought against my nature before. I tried to be "normal." I just wasn't happy. This is a part of who I am and fighting against my nature made me more miserable than I can explain. There was no satisfaction in pretending to be what I felt that I should be. You can pretend for your entire life to be someone you are not, you may even begin to convince yourself, but nothing will change what lies within your heart, your spirit. So... as far as I'm concerned, I would definitely go with the red [:)]

crouchingtigress,

What an excellent thread and so timely...
i thought i had already taken the "red" pill but i think i have just swallowed it...

Remember what the door mouse said - "feed your head"

M1cslave -> RE: red pill or blue pill... (4/8/2007 3:55:46 PM)

I think the doormouse said "keep your head"

sleazybutterfly -> RE: red pill or blue pill... (4/8/2007 4:02:21 PM)

I have thought the same thing on occasion.  As happy as I am, I lost a lot from stepping into this in the first place.  I tried so hard to go back to my "normal" life, but I couldn't be satisfied.  There are times I am more happy than I can imagine, and others where I wish I never knew how much I needed it.

PS..love the new pic CT

TheHeretic -> RE: red pill or blue pill... (4/8/2007 4:04:22 PM)

Keep the red pills coming.  The blue pills you see me popping are Aleve for muscle pain.

KnightofMists -> RE: red pill or blue pill... (4/8/2007 4:23:33 PM)

I can't say that I have ever met anyone that regretted that entered or learned of this lifestyle.

I know more than a few that regretted that they met person X or entered into a relationship with X.

I can't say that I have regretted my lifestyle or even learning about it.
