i volunteer.  Being a well rounded submissive, i have always wanted to be placed in a relationship where i was the male wife.  i clean, do laundry, iron ( which i love), and all domestic chores.

the problem is finding others with the same mind set. of course after reading through these posts, i see there are Women out there who seek the same.

relocation could be a possibility for me as well.  i do have a child in upstate Ny who i must visit once a month.  i am in connecticut now, so travel is not out of the question.

Can a dream come true??????????????

sincerely,

abchipster

Malewife, sounds an excellent idea... dont really care for the name much but the chance to wait on a lady and please her is a chance not to be missed.

i was functionally a "male wife"  for several years to a wonderful lady.  We were not married but the relationship worked well as role reversal.

Of *course* it's possible for him to take your last name.  It's more complicated than the "normal" marriage name conversion, but all that has to happen is for him to go to the courts and change his name.  Nothing more complex than that, but there are forms to fill out and other legal junk to go through.  It's not different, really, than deciding that "BTFSKVMN" is too awkward a last name, and changing it to "Jones".

I, too, like the idea of the male wife.  My wife considers me to be "her domestic" and I've worked out my life so that I'm home all day.  I work from home, do the cleaning and - when She thinks She can trust me - I do the cooking.

It's pretty cool!  I've never understood why "some people" complain about being a housewife.  It's VERY rewarding and fulfilling.

Depends on the state.

In Iowa when we were married there were spaces for both partners to put down a new name or not for after the wedding.  Since there is no legal requirement for anyone to change a name upon marriage, why would it be any more difficult for a man to do that than a woman?

Some states do have laws about an offspring's surname.

Laws always vary form state to state, but in most places the marriage certificate alone is enough proof for the wife to give to the DMV, social security adminstration, banks, ect.  A husband actually has to file a seprate legal change of name.  Slightly more complicated, but I can't see why it would be harder than a normal name change.

Name changing in RI is not very difficult at all.  File some papers at probate court, wait for date to show up in front of judge, and get it done.    M

i think aspiring to the role of male wife is the logical role for a submissive, like myself, who is into service, obedience, discipline, and control (or maybe i should say being controlled). Little admin niceties such as taking Her name, and W/who's name is on a title or two is something best worked out on an individual basis. The idea of having a male wife is a wonderful Dommention (if Y/you pardon the pun) to want for a relationship.

chimeji -> RE: Does anyone else here seek a male wife? (10/26/2007 4:50:52 PM)

i am new to this but the concept of a male wife is very attractive. sounds like something that is very realistic. less of a fantasy, something practical. i, of course, could be wrong.

Your thinking expressed here sounds pretty good to those of us who seek that role for our men, so don't change it!

And here's to our potential male wife working out.  *crosses fingers*

Anyone have any new potentials that we haven't heard about yet?

VT -> RE: Does anyone else here seek a male wife? (10/27/2007 9:51:10 PM)

Well when I frist saw this post, it reminded me of my life about 10 years ago. Had just moved to Az and was looking or a part time job. Wife was corporate, mortgage business. For the most part it was pretty nice, helped get the kids of to school, dressed as dad. Once everyone was going, tired to switch gears abit, but I will never make the cover of Shemale or Vogue <sp> just a little to stocky for that, although was able to do the shoes and shirt and blouse,, put a hood on me, and Wa La,, instant wife, never purchaesd the hood, Dag Nag Bit :(   As for as my wife, she should of been born a male,. Perfect Executive,, come home, throw clothes wherever, and head for the computer room. She would put food on the stove, turn it on low and set the micro way times,, and do computering until it went off. I grew up  in Hawaii, so I love plants and surrounded her tub with a jungle affect ;)  She liked it, but basically kills plants, so that was my  job. This one you will never believe, talk about male attitude> she and I would do some kissing, I then going down, the on her request get up on her, and would be done in a moderate time,,, Here's the  joke part,, she would get up, use the bathroom and then imediatley go back to computering, as though nothing really happened.... Does that sound like a man someone might remember?
So now divorced since 2000,,, I have told myself, this is the last chance I have to find a woman that might share my interest, put me to good use, obviously find fault in my perfectionate work, having or punish me,,, and then I think I would like to have maybe a 25 percent vanilla life,,, still treating like a queen or royalty. Might get discipline for poor royality treatment,,, just my luck,,right  wink :)

I do have a question, from another post if I may ask it here?  There is talk of subs that are fakes, one domme metioned leaving here, just to many " not real deal subbies"  I guess the question would be, are the Domme's asking to much of a new sub?  Or is the sub truely pathetic, whining, bitching, and telling her how he wants it done?  I have to be honest, because that is my faith, higher power,, I didn't read all the pages posted on this topic,,, Geeesh,, it must of started back when I was a teenager.  ok,, thanks for letting me jump in, an any answers to the subbie ject I posted here, would be appreciated,, either post or message me,,, Thanks-Bill.. once I learn where the spell check is, I  will be using it, or the copy button to spell check it at my regular email account.

Hope everyone has a Safe and Wonderful Weekend  [;)]

Hello there, atherservice.
I love that new word "Dommention", I never heard that one before.
Good luck

I love this thread and the concept it envisions.  I'd much rather be her "wife" than a maid.  "Wife" has a much more loving sound to it, and suggests a willing partnership between the parties.

I'm glad this thread keeps getting bumped to the top.

MsBearlee -> RE: Does anyone else here seek a male wife? (10/28/2007 1:27:32 PM)

In my youth, I was attracted to the bad boys…many of whom grew up to be selfish, unsatisfied, bullying, and sometimes (of drugs, alcohol or women) abusive men.  Today, I appreciate the ‘white knight’ side of men; so yes, I’d love to have a male wife.

In my youth most of my male partners earned their way financially and met me half-way with rent and utilities, but as partners they failed to tow the mark.  Sure, perhaps they changed the oil in the vehicles and maybe mowed the lawn, but it was me who cooked the meals and cleaned up, it was me who did the laundry and kept track of what was needed at the grocery store, it was me who cleaned the bathroom, vacuumed the house and did the dusting.  I’m so over the bad boys!

I would love to find a more submissive/supportive man who seriously wants to follow my lead, my direction; who delights in showing me that he cherishes me, wants to please me and has no issue with the world knowing just that.  It’s not that I’m into public humiliation (though gentle teasing and innuendo is so much fun...), but too many men apparently think it is unmanly to worship their partner.  Hell, too many men think it is unmanly to let their partners take the lead sexually; I want a guy who enjoys the occasional sensual delight of me taking him.

Personally, I believe it takes a strong man to ‘buck the system’ and admit to himself and to his partner that he likes not making all the decisions, that he likes tidying up the house or being my assistant in the kitchen, or that he might like anal stimulation.

It seems so many guys don’t pay attention to the world around them…they don’t know when the lawn needs mowing or the place dusted or that the garbage should be taken out.  I want a guy who does pay attention or whom I can tell to do this without giving me a ration of crap.  I want a guy who thinks of me and how to please me; who will wash my vehicle just because, who will offer to bring me coffee when he gets up first, who has genuine interest in pleasing me sexually.

Of course, to me this kind of behavior is part of a partnership.  I have a couple of well-stocked toy bags and would delight in playing him well and often.  I would get the coffee should I get up first, I am a gardener and just might be mowing the lawn (course, I have a riding mower…so…  LOL) and I do not expect ever to be supported financially…but he would be the one to sit down and actually take care of seeing the bills are paid.

What draws me to this lifestyle…or BDSM…is that those who find it seem more playful.  That is what I want; someone who delights in play, who is kinkier than a bag of pretzels and isn’t afraid of expressing that side of himself.  Whether or not he wants to wear panties or get flogged till his butt is raw is not the deciding factor to me; what I want is a partner who will share my life, who is not afraid to make me important in his and who can make play and partnership a priority.

I have talked to a lot of guys who try to get me to take on the caricature of the dominant shrew; who have presented me with long scripts where I am to lecture and punish them in certain ways; or who want me to humiliate their person in ways I’m just not comfortable.  I’d like to find a male wife; one who would be a celebrated and beloved partner, one who is supportive of me but wants to follow my direction, who is bright and able to take care of himself, but chooses to let me, one who is sexually confident but who isn’t afraid to let me take him when I want to rather than come to me with a long list of do-mes.

I do not see the roll of slave and wife as the same either, and enjoyed the comment ‘As a wife, I would tend to see myself as part of the support aspect of the relationship.  I would want to be free to express my thoughts to her, but when my Lady makes her decision, then my prime role would be to get on board and work to make that decision a successful one for both of us.  She is in charge of us.’  Yeah… like that.

My male wife would be my partner/my pet, my toy/my delight, my boy/my knight.

Beverly

Kaiynasha -> RE: Does anyone else here seek a male wife? (10/28/2007 1:33:11 PM)

Personally, after growing and regrowing in this lifestyle- I have no need for a male wife. I am not here to emasculate a man. Unless of course I met someone who dreamed of being a wife. I am also very much involved in Female Supremacy, I just don't find that is part of FS or a qualifier for being FS. Great question though.

MsBearlee -> RE: Does anyone else here seek a male wife? (10/28/2007 2:10:20 PM)

Huh?

Okay...so I went on and on far too long; but your comments leave me asking 'what?'

What part of having a 'male wife' do you find emasculating?  If you are very much involved in Female Supremacy...what part of the 'male wife' do you find challenging?

Sorry, I just don't follow you.
B

MzMia -> RE: Does anyone else here seek a male wife? (10/28/2007 2:20:22 PM)

Well MsBearlee, I also believe in Female Supremacy, and having a male wife
would be the natural order for ME.
I can't imagine ever getting married again, unless he is my wife.

MsBearlee -> RE: Does anyone else here seek a male wife? (10/28/2007 2:23:45 PM)

Yes, MzMia...I was able to gleen that fact from your posts.  Mine (or rather the one before this) was directed to Kaiynasha.

MzMia -> RE: Does anyone else here seek a male wife? (10/28/2007 2:33:37 PM)

I could tell that was not directed at me.
I was just clearing up, that all Female Supremacists are not the same.
Some of us look forward to a male wife.
Viva la difference

Kaiynasha -> RE: Does anyone else here seek a male wife? (10/28/2007 2:47:23 PM)

In my opinion the title male-wife seems to devalue them as men. And unless I plan to use this as a menu of  punishment for him- I do see this somewhat demeaning and not in a corrective or discipline fashion- it makes him in my eyes less like a man. I want a man to serve me.

I don't see the need to make a man feel like a wife in order to feel fulfilled.  Even if a man came to me and said he wanted to be a male wife. I just don't see it as something for me. I CAN see it being used by someone who is new and not really knowledgeable of what a male-wife may mean and therefore use it to emasculate men.

So, I don't find it challenging. It is just simply not what I want.
