Status: offline 		i'm a female and i viewed your profile, mainly because i saw you acting rather (imho) immature in the gorean forum...does this automatically make me a terrible person? if you don't want people to see your profile, don't put it up. otherwise, get over it. this has nothing to do with your profile, it has to do with the fact that you don't like mod xi because she banned somebody you do like. and, well, this site is free - get over it or die with it one. she doesn't owe you anything, and neither do we. i haven't seen anyone on this thread act in a "deplorable" manner towards you...just speak the truth.

A moderator is someone who must look at profiles to make sure that they don't have illegal stuff on them. It's their job.   If they didn't do their job, this site would be shut down, because if the mods DIDN'T check people's profiles, some idiot would inevitably put up something illegal, like underage pics, solicitations for prostitution, etc.  I seriously doubt she has the personal hots for all 1,037 of the people whose profiles she probably has to review every week.

i myself have seen this syndrome quite alot in the bdsm scene on the whole

To the OP.  Thank's so much for this post.  It has caused me to laugh hysterically on more than one occassion.  Two Thumbs way up!

You first mentioned that Mod 11 viewed your profile and it offended you because you are a straight female and Mod11 is not.  How is Mod11 supposed to know that you are straight UNLESS she looks at your profile? duh!  Your sexuality is not indicated in the boards.

You mention freedom of speech.  While I am a big supporter of freedom of speech, you must understand that freedom of speech only applies in the general public.  Message boards are often considered 'clubs' and require you to join in order to post to them.  Clubs have the right to choose which behaviors they permit, and which they do not permit, including speech.  Sad, but true.  Hence the reason why gays are not permitted in the Boy Scouts.

To the rest of the group who has posted here, YOU ALL MADE MY NIGHT AND YOU ROCK!  Thanks for the chuckles, and damn, now I know why I dislike coffee so much!

Status: offline 		It seems to me that moderators are here for a reason.  This is a public site, and therefore it is needed.  If your profile was viewed and that's a source of contention, perhaps you should be in a private site.  I have no issues with having moderators if it allows this site to remain open.
 
Perhaps you should make your profile comepletly bland or remove it altogether?  I cannot imagine the thought process you have gone through to think others will not look at your profile.
 
Since this is a public site, remember that the door swings both ways...if you don't like it, there is nobody holding you here against your will.
 
As far as rights go, everyone here has freedom of choice.  The right to choose whether or not they want to be on here, have their profiles viewed, have their posts viewed or as mentioned above, hit the bricks.
 
Personally, I wont waste my time viewing your profile.  The OP and the rest of the diatribe that you have spewed since has left me a clear picture that I wouldn't have interest in you based on your attitude towards others.  In other words, you ain't worth a click to me.  I guess I have this flawed sense that others in this lifestyle have tolerance.  I'm not into Gor for instance, yet I would never suggest repressing others interests in it.
 
As for the coffee comments that followed...coffee, tea, and/or me has taken on a whole ( or is it hole? ) new meaning.  The "Butt Bong" will invade college campus' and "Starfucks" will emerge as the brain child of someone in these posts.  We will all have the newest and coolest, with compact versions for the weekends.
 
Again to the OP...relax, get a grip and move on.  You are no more important than any other here, you have not been violated ( please! ).  I'm sure when you wake, you will not have a sore ass and a $20 bill in your hand.

Status: offline 		It's a beautiful sunny day here at the Jersey shore.  I think I will take my little dog and walk up to the corner store and buy a large coffee, maybe I'll get the chocolate macadamia nut flavor, with Irish cream creamer.  And maybe one of those yummy warm cinnamon rolls.  And then I think I'll take it up to the beach and bask in the tranquility of the smell of the salt air, the sound of the waves crashing on the shore, and the playfulness of the seagulls as they fly through the air and call to one another. 

And when I see that one seagull who always runs around screaming at all the other ones, trying to make whatever point he's trying to make......I shall think of the OP.
