'what does it ( I assume you meant 'he') get out if it?' - If the only reason you are playing with someone is so you can have sex then you really need to take a long hard look in the mirror. Vanilla sex can be found just about anywhere and it certainly is more work for a guy to have to learn how to 'play' BDSM than to simply 'hook-up' with a vanilla chick.

My male Dominant partner does not fuck the people he plays with. He beats them, he tortures them, he scares them, and he is controlling - these are the things he gets out of playing with someone. If another male Dominant finds these types of things to be 'not enough' then I guess that is for him to take up with his play partners and does not effect how my SO plays with his 'toys' at all.

I would also like to mention that a 'relationship' does not have to be a life long, partner, romantic style relationship. It does not have to be sexual. I have a relationship with people in my family and in my extended Leather family - I am not having sex with any of these people. Just something to think on a bit.
