Dusty, I know several Dommes at MystressWorld, who encouraged Me to join, and because they were friends of Mine I did so for a time, and I enjoyed the time I spent there corroborating with fellow friends, their real time subs, and their online boi's. There are many many reasons that sub men are too intimidated to attempt real time training. And no, they don't all have to be married hng wannabe's, either. MystressWorld is like any other BDSM site: there are players, and real Dommes, and Domme wannabe's, and hng's and sincere submissives who just don't have the courage to go and risk their indentity at some group BDSM activity or munch. I encountered a shy young man with a speech impediment, from a state far far to the northeast of Texas, who was so engaging that he became My online sub for a year. Using a webcam, and phone calls, he eagerly carried out every assignment I gave him with extraordinary grace and charm. I had the freedom to use My own lessons, although I did use a few from their 'training library' to get some online ideas, and I had a perfectly fun time with it. I have no idea what he paid to belong to the site, I was not paid a dime, but I was not charged anything to belong to the site, either. I believe they charge a monthly fee, probably somewhat less than most people pay to have cable. The fact that men paid for a subscription, because it is a subscription in every sense of the word, weeded out a LOT of jerks. I mentored several male subs, and eventually concentrated on the one sub from the NorthEast because he entertained Me so very well. I have since engaged two male subs for service who had online training at MystressWorld, and they were both very sincere, very real, and very impressive in their service. It is up to the submale at MW to set his own limits; MW staff will not force the sub into doing things he doesn't want to do. Whether or not MW includes among their ranks Pro Dommes who accept fees for their services is unknown to Me. I doubt you'd be offered a real time session for a fee until you had been there several months and Mystress felt that she and the staff had become acquainted with you. As for the three month contract, I see no reason for MW not to set a minimum initial subscription, because speaking strictly for Myself, it took a lot of time, creativity, and effort at written communication to develop a rapport with a sub at MW. I'd have hated to undertake that effort and waste it on a guy who would just disappear in eleven days or less. Wouldn't you? As with any BDSM activity, it's up to you to use your head, and decide what you want to pursue or participate in. Take away from the MW site, and from the lessons of the Great Cyber Chase, whatever positive things you want to, and let go of the rest. As for the naysayers on this thread, unless they've been involved with MW and can speak to their own experiences, I wouldn't put much stock in their comments. Email Me on the other side of CM, if you would like specific information, it's been several years since I participated there, but it was great fun and I still hear from My 'cyber boi' from time to time. He's met a new Domme at a fetish event near his home town, has put his lessons to good use: when he was finally ready he made the leap from cyber to real time. So can you. TexasMaam
