Chia (A.K.A. chiaThePet), I appreciate that you feel a strong sense of allegiance to your Domina and to a site where you gained experience and knowledge. None-the-less, my initial read after going to Mystress World isn't much different from what MistressCalico, Wickad, Najakcharmer, the OP himself, and a few others have described. The things that caught my attention are: 1.) The site seems completely concerned with sex as opposed to BDSM relationship dynamics. 2.) There are atrocious grammar and spelling mistakes on every page. 3.) Structured training is fine, but the boxes this site purports to "fit" submissives into seem unrealistic and unconcerned with real-world, human needs and feelings. 4.) The site is riddled with fantasy-inspired, female supremacist dogma. (Other Dominas who posted here called this "Top's Disease".) 5.) The "give us your information before we show you anything" aspect, all by itself, makes the site appear like a troll for personal information. 6.) This is a pay site that carelessly and unethically attempts to deceive people into thinking it is a free, community site. Ethical professionals state their services and fees up front, not in the fine print. Based on all of this, I am warning the OP to be wary of this site. If you are as concerned for Mystress (spelling mistake per her handle) as you seem to be, I would ask you to respectfully pass on this information to her. Perhaps I'm a little more experienced than her target audience, but in any event, the site looks like a scam and that is enough for me to warn the OP and others away from it. Elan.

Elan, you're not being very subdued here. I left MystressWorld over a year ago, the re-emergence of this subject began with a personal afront to myself. My allegiance is to myself here, no one else. Yes, the site can be everything you have noted here, but above all else, it is a voluntary site to join. We all are born with free choice. My experience there was for the most part, good and fun. I chose to be a part of the site. I'm not going to spend my waking moments posting about every website I stumble upon which may or may not suit my fancy. I will disagree here only on the facts that Mystress purposely spells her identification this way as a separation from the mundane and oft used Mistress. Second, it is explained early on that there is cost to join the site. This is no secret. Again freedom of choice. chia* (the pet)

As much as is feasible given the subject matter, I attempted to be objective. The site speaks for itself. Anyone going there will find as I have. Indeed, many in this thread observed the same and documented similarly in their own posts. --- Yes, the site can be everything you have --- noted here, but above all else, it is a voluntary --- site to join. We all are born with free choice. I agree with you. One of the ways I use my free choice is to call out scams. If it appears as a scam (even if it isn't), I tend to err on the side of safety. Note, it's important that you and everyone understand my distinction here. I'm not saying Mystress World is a scam, but rather that it appears this way and exhibits techniques (trolling for information, for example) that unethical web sites often use. --- I will disagree here only on the facts that --- Mystress purposely spells her identification --- this way as a separation from the mundane --- and oft used Mistress. It's not so much your Mistress' handle, but rather all the other spelling and grammatical errors on the site that don't bode well. In this context, the "Mystress" misspelling is somewhat irksome. --- Second, it is explained early on that there is --- cost to join the site. This is no secret. Again --- freedom of choice. The cost is explained in the fine print and this is done very ambiguously (under the auspices that a "tribute" applies for submissives). Nowhere does the site describe it's actual costs and features in a clear, easy to access fashion. More importantly, the site asks for personal information before disclosing any features which, in itself, is enough for me to be wary and to warn others. Elan.

However, in this particular thread, it does appear that you have strong feelings about Mystress World that are stopping you from being objective. Nobody is saying Mystress is a bad person. It may also be true that Mystress World offers fabulous, insightful training that is good value for the money. All of this said, the site does not present itself in an ethical, professional way. The "Nigerian" and other slants aimed at you are tongue in cheek, and not meant to be taken seriously. Once you're feeling a little cooler, I'm hoping you'll see the humour in it. As for your replies to Wickad, Pyrrsefanie, and others, if I may suggest, again, take a break from the thread and once you're feeling cooler, you may want to come back and apologize. Everyone understands that you have a personal relationship with Mystress. Your loyalty is admirable. However, rudeness is never appropriate and I dare say that Mystress herself probably wouldn't defend much of your behaviour in this thread. This thread struck an emotional chord for you. I don't think I could have said it better myself. Mystress World appears to be nothing more than a thinly veiled unethical money making venture bordering on scam. I don't think I would have as much of a problem with the idea if they actually did provide a true education for those who need it. It appears to be based entirely on fantasy and cheap fantasy at that. All of the errors in grammer make me think the site was written by the Nigerians as just another scam. It is truely sad that they are preying on those who seek only truth and enlightenment. I looked it over after it was mentioned here....I felt that I could at least see what it was about....In all honesty, I wasnt impressed and wouldnt pass 2 seconds of My time near it or associated with it. The tact and manner of the owner, when I contacted to ask what they teach and how they go about it, was rude and abrasive to say the least.
