It does not say that at all annabelle. it is saying that in the lesbian population there are a greater number (twice) of overweight and obese women than there are in the hetro population and as such, there is a greater risk of obesity related diseases in that population ergo...

THAT puts the Lesbian population at greater risks to various health issues than Herto Women. Not because they are lesbians but because they are fatter.

I believe that those who are content with a system (such as vanilla heterosexual manogomy) are more likely to be at peace.

Those who begin as lesbian are more likely to gain weight due to stress due to social pressure.
Those who begin overweight are more likely to consider alternatives (e.g., their own gender) and embrace new systems despite social pressure.

Unless I am only able to open part of the story; yes, I read it. It mentions the possibility of lesbians having a better body image than non-lesbians, but the link provided doesn't expand on why or anything further. I expanded.... no need for a disdainful tone.

The health points lesbians may lose for being larger (if indeed this is true), could likely be more than compensated healthwise by their having relationships with women, who often are more nurturing, compassionate, and less judgmental than the male gender, thus trading in being heavier for being happier and less stressed. Studies often look at one issue, when if looked at as a whole picture may not be an issue at all.

Scientific studies deem married (to males) women heavier than than unmarried women, so perhaps married women should consider this "health risk" as well.

Anabelle is defintally not morbidly obese. To be considered obese you have to 100lbs over what is considered a healthy weight she is defintally not 100lbs more than a healthy weight. And is FAR from "morbidly obese". And that was a very rude statment to say the least. Shame on you.

My point wasn't that Anabelle is morbidly obese. However, 5'3" at 190 pounds is certainly morbidly obese in the real world. Casie, it wouldn't hurt your appearance to lose about 15 pounds of density from those hefty arms yourself. I understand that ordinary, tall, and ungainly girls with a weight problem have a lot of anger at those of us who are naturally trim and fit. Don't hate me cause I'm beautiful sweatheart, it just makes you uglier.
