ORIGINAL: Indemnis Leaving aside my beauty (and thank you both for the compliments) the fact remains that I AM FAT. I have no delusions about this, and in fact enjoy my own body for it's uniqueness, particularly in a society that cherishes the thin. I have always had a bit of a thing about comformity... Does this make me any less a person than the next? Nope, not a bit. You either like it or you do not. The problems I had were with the manner in which you spoke to people... Casie who was clearly beautiful got poked fun at by you for having chunky arms, you ended up putting others down to make yourself look better. Pro-fit is fine, but if you're going to wave your skinny arse in peoples' faces to make them feel bad about themselves, I really have trouble finding respect for you within no matter how you backtrack to make your really really cruel remarks seem less so now that one of the mods tackled you. But I do see your points, and no. I do not believe lesbians are twice as likely as heteros to be obese- I think it comes down to your heritage, and how much you WANT to be skinny/fat. People who really dislike themselves, thin or fat, will change it, or work to do so... (barring disease or the like, of course.) I have a male friend who wanted nothing more all his life than to have a big belly, but was too scared of what society thought to do it. Finally after some pep talks, he worked on it.. he is now rounder, thicker, and far, far happier... so it works both ways. Also, no... I really do NOT foresee myself beneath you at any time in the future. Happily owned, and quite straight. At least, currently straight. I checked out your profile and saw you were straight. Now that you've revealed your insincerity and hypocrisy by doing exactly what you've condemned me for doing (i.e. my "skinny arse") I no longer feel obliged to explain anything further to you. I don't require any horseshit trolls about lesbians being more obese than hetero's waved in my face either.
