Ok, I am sure this has been covered before, but there is something that drives me crazy on this site (or the other bondage personals site too). [sm=banghead.gif]
Begin Rant.
Why don't people read someone's profile before sending a msg? It takes like three whole minutes to read even a very long profile. For example, there is a paragraph in my profile stating that I am sorry but I am unable to relocate outside of Florida. I STILL get replies from people in California or Oregon or Pennsylvania telling me they are looking for a 24/7 slave to relocate to their home..
"Are you looking for a sexy couple?" Yep that too is covered very clearly in my profile. And the best is that so many of them say, "I/We love your profile." Did you love the part that straight out says why we are not compatibile in the most basic way - what we are each looking for?
I would think if you are interested in persuing a relationship with someone, you would spend the few moments it would take to see what they have to say about themselves! I don't just go msging random people seeking a D/s relationship. That would be idiotic. Hell, if I did that, I could be sending an email to a Mistress propositioning her for 24/7 when she is only looking for paid webcam sessions. It's so frustratingly moronic to me.
And, do these people not have any selectiveness at all? Any profile in pink will do? Many of these people seem very real so it does not seem that they are fakes playing a game -I get plenty, myriads, of those too. No, these are people who have multiple real pictures, detailed profiles (why bother writing one, apparently almost no one reads them?) and situations that seem quite real. Don't they even want to make sure the person they are writing is at least seemingly possibly real!?? A majority of these people are looking for 24/7.. so, you want to persue a very long term intense relationship where the person will live IN YOUR HOME and you don't read their profile??? That is nuts.
I read people's profiles in their entirety and read their journals because I want to find any little thing that would make us incompatible before I engaged in a lengthier discussion back and forth. I don't want to find out after five emails that Mistress's favorite fetish is loaning her slave out to men for sex. I don't want to find out that the person I am writing is relocating across the country in six months. I want to know that first so I can save everyone time and energy. I also happen to want to know everything I can about the person I might dedicate my life to. Silly moi!
I don't get it. If you are sitting on this site spending time looking for someone, why not take a whole two minutes longer after you look at the picture to read what the person you are potentially seeking a RELATIONSHIP with has to say about themselves and what they are looking for.
