A vast majority of the replies I get that I tell to reread my profile closely and tell me exactly what part they thought would have given them an idea we were compatible read. They do so VERY selectively, though. They will read the parts they want to hear, or which might apply to them. The statements about not looking and already having my pet seem to slip through. And then, there are always the ones that think they are the exceptions to your rule, that you might believe that way but they are that damn good that they will change your mind. shrug take it as a good filter, anyone who as obviously not read isnt someone to concern yourself with. A polite little "I dont think so, and the profile explains why" and move along to the next. DV

Yes, it's been mentioned before, but that's ok, since obviously, at least some haven't quite heard it yet. Wonderful rant, though. Quite eloquent. Speaking as someone who STILL doesn't have a decent profile <shakes head @ Self> I honestly don't know why some don't take the time to read the profiles that are so well written. Usually, it's a comment one has made on the boards that have gotten Me curious enough to read about them, and often surprised at what a delightful person lies on the other side. For those who don't read profiles, it really is their loss. The pic on the profile is just the wrapping paper. The real gift is always inside.

Oh yeah, the first line of my profile actually says 'Read my entire profile before contacting me' And I can't tell you how many people e-mail me everyday asking to chat on yahoo IM or ask me if I'm looking to relocate for 24/7.[:@]

LOL the first paragraph of mine states that I'm not looking in big bold red letters and I still get requests for consideration. That's what the block and delete buttons are for. If I'm not too stressed out I'll write a polite little "thanks but you should probably read my profile, in particular the first paragraph". I do understand the OP needing to vent though.

I understand the need to vent about that. It can be irritating, but as mentioned before it's a good weeding out tool too. I don't sweat it. I either just delete and go about my business or make a reply of: as my profile states I'm involved and only here for friends and the boards, goodbye and have a nice day. Rather depends on the initial contact and my mood as to which I may do. I hope the venting helped a lil for you. Shame the ones who do this don't generally participate in or possibly even read the forums, some might actually get a clue then.

This is, after all, a free site and anyone can join. There is no literacy test or intelligence test given to join. Getting all sorts of emails from all sorts of people is just the price of having a profile on here. It doesn't really bother me to get emails that are irrelevant or even insulting. i take it all in stride and handle each on a case by case basis. Or, since my Master has total access to my mail, He often reads them before i see them and He responds to the sender. Don't usually have many who continue to write back after being told, "No, thank you", but when they do, then they get blocked. Problem solved. slave joy Owned property of Master David

I couldn't agree more and I rant about this to myself daily! I'm just hoping at some point putting up with it pays off... you cant win with these people either - send a polite response "I don't think we a good match but i wish you the best of luck in your search", "I'm sorry but you are significantly out of the age range mentioned in my pro", etc and you get a rude nasty response from them, OR don't respond at all in which case you get a rude response for not responding to them originally. I've given up the playing nice and now I simply send a one word response to those who write me and are seeking something blatanly ruled out in my pro "READ!" Doesn't waste too much more of my time then they already have and doesn't take up much of thiers either. And that has to be the BIGGEST thing I dont understand with these people - do they really want to waste thier time, could they really have NOTHING better to do than obviously waste time contacting someone who they know holds no potential interest? It's mind baffling to me.... I guess I just have too much to do with my time - after all it's precious to ME!

I've not been on this site for all that long and yet I'm absoloutely amazed at how many slaves have written in their journal entries about foolish people who chose not to take the time to read a profile before messaging someone. I know exactly what you mean, girly, and I'm so suprised that the situation is as vast and as bad as it is. The problem may lay in that sexy picture of yours ([;)]) it's probably turning the brains of your supposed 'readers' to jelly. [:D]

We fully understand the rant and often wish to grab some so professed Domdongs and yes Domtwats and not only shake them but even pay for their eye tests and reading lessons. As Our Property’s profile begins in large letters NOT FREE then as her introduction and in the first line states that she is owned and exactly that . If someone was able to not comprehend what that means it then states why We have her on the site and in detail these reasons , Her sex like so many others here is all that is seen and can be read then after a lot of head scratching sink in as the brain then sends the message to the fingers to contact FEMALE and no matter how it is done that she will do all that is asked of her and swoon and drool wondering why she is someone else’s and only have the limits she has . Then when the neanderthals are contacted by Us are so happy to say yes read the profile but thought that she needs more and that We would not mind or care. Got it!!!....It soooo funny when some poor sap comes out here and exclaims that he is pissed when subs don't respond....Well let's not have these same subs bitch about all of the useless mail you receive....Deal with it...It is a free fucking site if you don't recognize a sender don't open it....Hmmmmm my phone keeps ringing and I don't recognize the number....Do you think it might be a tele-marketer? When you pick up don't be surprised that it is..... If you are so fucking pissed about being contacted, delete your profile and only use your profile for the forums...That solves all of your problems.....Maybe you are pissed off that you really are not being contacted by the "right" people...Well fuck, ladies, I only have two hands and I'm sure my letters of introduction will reach you all in good time.
