As I noted on the other thread BP is already laying it on the blowout preventer malfunctioning.  In part this also explains why they can't close it. 

BP was also very specific in noting that  is "Transoceans blowout preventer that was being operated by Transocean.  The link is in the other thread.

pahunk, its the same as saying there is only one definition for RACE.

race can define a group of people

race can define an event, such as a 10k running or walking race

race can also define the acronym for putting out a fire.

The basis of your educational program can be built around the acronym RACE. Discuss RACE with the program group, focusing on each letter of the acronym as your four main subjects.

If you entered a hospital and heard staff talking about RACE, you would assume its to run. For hospital employees, it has a whole different meaning. Should Obama have clarified? Seems those in the "know" understood what he was saying.

Why even call a news conference when it only confuses many when the acronyms  hold a different meaning then the primary definition per wiki and other sites?   This spill is significant and the prez was sloppy by letting the world think we are sending guns.

This is sloppy governance-
