I guess I could go with: "Gyno-centrists" Not much better though.

If you're not gonna use that term, can I steal it and save it for a special occasion?

yanno, not every woman who identifies as a feminst is a misandryist ( forgive my spelling, I am sleepy).

There are numerous examples of men who cause the outcry you see, and yes, numerous example of women who spout the crap you speak of, as well. Does it further your arguments to start throwing around the ';feminazi' label? no. Does it do the women who spew misadnry any favor? No.

why should anyone fall into the hate camp? if everyone would rise above.. well, wouldn't it be a better conversation?

edited because my fucking touchpad HATES me.

I actually once wrote a fabulous and just-the-right-amount-of-disgusting story about the topic of eating someone with a spoon. Called "Spoonfed." Go figure.

But that's way off topic. :)

All I can say is, I ♥ me some Kaliko. (and I really want to read this story. Like really.)

Michael, once I have gotten some sleep (gawd knows when that will be..'m off tonight, so while I am sleepy as hell , I am trying to not screw my sleep patterns up too much..LOL), I will email you.

:)

I didn't curse at you. I used the name of a symbol of a religion in vain and for that I will apologize but, it won't be to you.

No, you didn't say anything rude other than falling in line with the other feminazis, playing the blame game, coming onto a thread asking for Males only and spewing misandronous crap, and being catty about it.

The passive agreesiveness of the "blame game" is marginally more acceptable coming from people who label themselves "submissive".

No need for a response. We're done, here, "ma'aM"

Peace and comfort,

Michael

So it's femi-naziism if I believe both parties need to take responsibility?
Weird.
I thought that was just being an adult.
I must ponder this assumption.

littlewonder -> RE: Males Only!! Oral Contraception Yes or No? (2/24/2012 12:02:53 PM)

It takes two to make a baby so yeah....both should take responsibility.

Cool. If I'm not here, I will be later tonight. [:D]

ashjor911 -> RE: Males Only!! Oral Contraception Yes or No? (2/24/2012 12:05:03 PM)

hell NO,

35% of women have sort of bad "Reaction" to the Pill,   i think.

Thaelog -> RE: Males Only!! Oral Contraception Yes or No? (2/24/2012 12:08:34 PM)

I'm just a firm believer that if you put the responsibility in someone else's hands and it goes wrong that you are either a fool, or didn't really care that much to begin with.

Bad reactions, yes. Also the risk for stroke and heart attack skyrockets. Still, I was on them for years for my endometriosis, and was able to keep all my parts intact and symptoms under control. Tricking your body into thinking it's pregnant all the time has consequences, good and bad. Hormonal methods do not work for everyone, and are not the best choice for everyone.

I'm very interested in a reversable method that works on sperm, I will have to read on it after the tax season.

No method of birth control works unless you use it properly. Skipping a dose--or even taking a dose at different times of the day for the low-e pills--can affect how they work. Antibiotics can cancel out birth control pills! It's a world of factors and unless the user is educated and UNDERSTANDS, the chance for failure increases.

A point I made, months ago but your friends that you're defending have made it a point to lob insults my way. I really am sorry that you feel offended, when I type that word. I mean that. I'm even sorrier that you felt the need to enter the fray.

The way I see it, when their behavior toward men, in general (and toward me, to a lesser degree) improves to a point that they're not behaving like hateful human beings to an entire group of people, We can revisit my use of the term. I chose the term specifically because Hitler got a group of his cronies together and convinced an (almost) entire nation to blame an entire group of people. Kind of makes sense, really. I did it to point out that the behavior is reminiscent of one of the worst periods in this world's known history.

I'm sorry, Greedy. I truly am but, my beef wasn't with you and while I'm sorry that you are distressed, you have chosen to publicly take issue with me and turn a blind eye to their crap. Good lookin' out but, your indignation would be a little bit more convincing to me if it weren't quite so covered in one-sided bullshit.

Peace and comfort,

Michael

I'm interested in this feminazi term and so as not to further derail this thread have started a new one: http://www.collarchat.com/m_4042273/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm#4042273

There's a contingent here that has decided they don't like me and they're going to twist what I say and berate and demonize me. That's fine. They can live their lives in hate. They have that choice (They can also go soak their heads). I choose to ignore ignorance, closed-mindedness, and general misandry.

I'm not sure to whom you refer but wanted to state for the record that I don't hate you. I've been disagreeing with a lot of people lately in P&R, but I don't hate anybody here.

Sometimes I can't wrap my brain around where a poster is coming from so ask a lot of questions, which may seem antagonistic, but I am honestly trying to understand where they are coming from.

An interesting phenomenon I've noticed lately is agreeing with people in P&R but passionately disagreeing with them elsewhere, and vice versa. People are more than one ideology.

YSG -> RE: Males Only!! Oral Contraception Yes or No? (2/24/2012 2:19:11 PM)

Actually, I would take contraceptives if my body worked ok with them. There are other factors to consider as well, such as cost, but yes, I would if it was an option.

Hillwilliam -> RE: Males Only!! Oral Contraception Yes or No? (2/24/2012 2:20:18 PM)

Hell, kalik, I'll agree with someone on one thread and disagree with them on the next.

Wanna make Hillie suspicious as hell? Agree with me on everything.

purplelizard -> RE: Males Only!! Oral Contraception Yes or No? (2/24/2012 2:27:22 PM)

No... I would go an IUD... Safer these days, and healthier than pumping in the drugs...

ChatteParfaitt -> RE: Males Only!! Oral Contraception Yes or No? (2/24/2012 2:28:11 PM)

Using FR so replying to no one in particular.

I would never trust a male to take care of the birth control unless I knew from long experience (i.e. years) that he was capable of handling that responsibility. *I* would be the one to get pregnant. (Metaphorically speaking, since I had my tubes tied 25 years ago and have been through menopause. If I got pregnant now, it would be a miracle, literally.)

I think if a female does not wish to get pregnant, she does something to ensure she won't. If a male doesn't want to be a father, the same. Blaming others for entrapment is BS.

Do people lie about such? Oh hell yeah, they lie about all kinda shit. So when it comes to something *major* like having a child, you take responsibility yourself unless/until you are positive you can trust your partner. Same with STDs.

Nothing, and I do mean nothing, will ever replace basic trust.

As long as it doesn't fall out, perforate your uterus, or allow for an ectopic pregnancy. "Safer" is very relative.
