Smokers, conservatives, military sorts (not that there is anything wrong with them, but they turn me off), people who do not take pride in themselves and love themselves by taking care of themselves.

Lack of motivation, an "I can't" attitude, poor hygeine, closed-mindedness.

Reading many of the responces i got to wondering.  How obese is obese?  By medical standards (that i know of, might be out of date)...being 20 pounds over the 'recommended' height/weight chart is considered obese.  Very very "morbid" obese is 100 pounds over.  Just a random thought that poped into my head since health science has a chart for such things and all.

For me my turn off's are:
Physical, long nails and long hair.
Mental, ehhh....to much stuff to list hehe.

Mental;  a) Lairs.

What kind of lairs?  Like, Thieve's Dens, or spider lairs, or what?

Aw, forgive them their typo.

But I have to wonder if caverns, coves, and batcaves are exempt.

Physical turn-offs... bad teeth, bad hygiene, anorexic physique, excessive visible body piercings when clothed.  (Waitress in the Village Inn on Grace Street in Richmond, VA has 47 visible body piercings.  If you ask how many she has in total she replies, "That'll be a $200 modeling fee to find out, hon.")  Prison tattoos.  Obvious cosmetic surgery.

Attitude turn-offs... Inability to express an opinion on any issue.  Whining complaining but never taking action to fix what bugs them.  Those convinced that the mores and customs of the tribe they grew up in are a universal code that should be enforced everywhere on everyone.

Mental turn-offs... "Oh, I haven't read a book since I left high school"  People proud of being ignorant.  People that are convinced they know what is better for you than you could ever know for yourself.

Just an opinionated old fart,
Stefan

So the consensus is dumb, short, fat, lazy, smelly, hairy guys who smoke are boned.  In the bad way.

Physically speaking, very few things turn me off.
-STD's
-I strongly prefer fair skin, but tone and color are not grounds for instant disqualification.
-Smoking.  The nasty cough more than the actual smoke, though... It always reminds me of Grandma

Mental turn offs
-Hastiness
-Lack of respect for logic.
-Jealousy
-Stubbornness

Physical:
Lack of hygiene especially bad teeth. Not crooked ones but gross teeth. Mouth breathers. Really loud snoring (only cuz it keeps me awake). Shorter than me.
Mental:
Meanness. Rudeness to anyone unless it is necessary (ie getting some drunk guy to stop pawing at me lol). Someone who hates groups of people. Really loud men.

I wonder if I look at this in 6 months, if any will have changed. Bet not.

Are there any safety toe boots that do not qualify as a torture device?

physical - skinny guys, excessively bad hygiene, and oddly enough "pretty" boys.

mental - rudeness, lack of consideration for others, drama/chaos, disorganization, whining, pessimism

poor me attitude and unwilling to correct the things they have control of
irresponsibility
when discussing , screaming instead of having a calm discussion
lack of communication

Physical: poor hygeine, extreme obesity, missing teeth, etc.  I also hate body hair.

Mental: stupidity, ignorance, stubbornness, an unwillingness to see anything from another point of view, far-right conservatives (the ones who walk around saying liberals should be shot, that liberals are criminals, etc.), anyone who thinks they're better than anyone else because of the way they were born (race, sex, etc.), and last but not least, those who knock on my door at 8:00 AM, Saturday morning trying to sell me magazines in which I've no interest.  Crass behaviour is also a huge turnoff to me, especially when it involves stealing gropes, etc.

I find myself physically turned off by very little beyond poor hygiene or gross disfigurement.

I'm much more likely to become disenchanted by a non-physical element.  After reading all the posts, I find I agree with many of the non-physical turn-offs but the one I find most irritating is the lack of critical thinking ability.  Ignorance is bad enough but can be remedied.  Those who can't get from A to B with all the facts AND instructions should simply expire and conserve natural resources.

Only slightly less nauseating are those who believe their feelings trump established facts.  Those who believe they are somehow entitled to a "fair" life rank just about as low on the endearing meter.

Those who are lazy, physically or intellectually, just piss me off.

Mentally unbalanced people  are quickly added to my do-not-contact list but I don't find them as repulsive as some of the emotional leeches I've met.

I could probably fill several pages, expounding on all my pet peeves but I won't waste anyone's time, as I'm sure most everyone could do the same.

I think strong, capable, intelligent, energetic, healthy people are good people to have in one's life and even better to have within one's collar.

Timothy

Poor hygeine-especially bad breath/bad teeth-smoking, seeing a cig hanging out of someone's mouth immediatly turns me off and adds to the bad BO and bad breath thing.

Ignorant, intollerant. And the extremes  of Egomaniacle to self doubting to a fault that makes their own lack of confidence show. How, as a bottom can I possibly  have confidence in a Top if they are not even confident of themselves?
