Subbie? It sounds giggly childish to me...but that's only my opinion.  If you like it, go for it.

Status: offline 		I do try....even if we are not a fit I do offer friendship...I get some emails saying they are interested and I guess they see the part on my profile where I want to be friends first, so they lay it on thick, saying they want the same, not because I'm Domme but because I seem like a person they would want to get to know.....when I say I don't think we are a fit, but offer to be friends, usually disappear.....pretty much says it all.   Some try to manipulate, saying ok, then after a few emails where they try to manipulate me into accepting them, or cybering, or phone, and it doesn't work, they take off as well...good riddance.

I have found some great friends here (subs/slaves)...and as previous post stated, that usually happens after the initial "interests" dies down.

I'll have to agree with some of the other posts as well.  It might be one thing to be a pet name between master and sub, but as a collective term?  No..  It's like the whole vanilla terms of my snuglly wuggly, or other such sickening pet names..

If you like Subbie, and want that as your pet name, knock yourself out.  If you dom is willingto call you that, all the better.  But lets not be childish here..

Yes.  A dom can be friends with a sub.  It depends alot on the overall aspect of the relationship.  If the dom is one that can be soft towards the sub, and the sub is one who can stand tall near the dom, yes they can be friends.

If the dom can't lower his eyes, and the sub raise hers, then there will never be eye contact, and it will simply never work. 

I have friends who are subs, and while we don't play, we do compare notes.  But often friendship comes after the dismissal of D/s partners.

This has nothing to do with role and everything to do with people. If you think two people can be friends and have a healthy relationship when one is interested in developing more, then, yes. If you don't, then no.

"Sub" is fine for just about everyone.  There's also "s-type."  Even shorter to type.

Status: offline 		First and foremost Dominants and submissives are people. The problem of one wanting more than another from a friendship would be just the same if they were both vanilla, and accordingly, have the same problems and frustrations for one party.
